Although I was glad to have these on hand after giving birth, I have to say that the ones from the hospital were way better. I preferred the other ones. These didn't stay cold for very long, and I also think they're thicker/bulkier, which makes them less comfortable to wear. Overall, not bad to have on hand but not my favorite.

I’m surprised how many reviews I’m seeing saying they don’t last long honestly! I was hesitant to buy these but postpartum pain from healing tears and general soreness was making me desperate and I didn’t want to attempt homemade ones. While they don’t last hours like the hospital ones seem to, these do last long enough for me to put one on and sit down for a while enjoying the instant relief they provide. They get super cold and feel SO GOOD. I didn’t time how long they stay cold for me but I had time to at least sit and watch tv for a while before realizing it wasn’t cold anymore . I’d say maybe an hour! Will update this review if I get around to timing it next time. Either way, if you are sore post partum, I highly recommend these!

Does not stay cold for long…possibly 5-10minutes. Once the coldness fades it feels like you have a water balloon with warm water down there. The ones they give at the hospital are 100 times better…make sure you take some home!!

I bought these when I had my daughter in October 2021, vaginal delivery and had a tear and these were HORRIBLE to sit on I could only lay down which wasn’t feasible since I was breastfeeding. I made myself padsicles which were MUCH MUCH better.
