These aren't truly an 8 count. There are 4 pairs of stickers, which means you have to use both at the same time, when you might only need it on one side. They are also very sticky when you don't want them to be (trying to reposition them or peeling them off or accidentally touching them with your finger) and simultaneously not sticky enough when they need to be (slipping off of the nipple entirely under your bra so it needs to be repositioned regularly). Also they only last 4 hours, while the hospital ones were 12 hours, so they don't last as long as their competitors. I experienced a burning pain from these that I didn't with other brands, but that's probably specific to my skin and not a widely shared side effect.

Love these!!
An essential for exclusively pumping!! When I go a little while without these, my nipples get angry! I love to wear them after my last pump before bed and overnight and the dryness is all better! Apologies for buying out the last 5 on the shelf but I need these, especially for my right since no matter how much nipple butter I use, it still is always dry and now crusty due to chafing! Just wish they sticked a little better, especially with nipple butter for extra hydration. They tend to shift and move a little easily.

After experiencing some nipple pain from the first couple of days breastfeeding, I tried using these. Terrible choice. They pulled off the top layer of nipple skin, causing the blisters that were forming (from an improper latch) to open and bleed. What I thought would bring relief actually caused more problems.

Soothing but doesn't last 4 hours
These are great for on-the-go. You definitely cannot tell that you have them on and they are very soothing. I don't think they last 4 hours though- with body heat warming them up, I'd say about 1 hour... maybe 2, but probably not. They are packaged in sets- so you get 4 packages with 2 in each package. I only needed one so I put the other in a zip lock bag for later in the day since they don't last very long. I think they're worth the $ if your in pain and have to go to work, but otherwise they're way expensive, especially if you're needing comfort a good part of the day. Hope this helps!

Didn’t cool at all or do anything. Don’t like that I need to wash off before feeding. Waste of $$.

Cooling relief, fast
I can’t say enough about these hydrogel nipple pads. They provide instant relief for sore nipples due to breastfeeding with cooling hydrogel. They’re flexible and easy to use; simply peel off the backing and place them to experience soothing relief. I have also found that placing them in the fridge helps provide an extra level of cooling relief from soreness. Best of all, there isn’t any residue left behind and you can peel them off to immediately breastfeed because it’s safe for baby. I would highly recommend this to mamas everywhere.

allergic reaction
I had an allergic reaction. Within 10 minutes, I started to feel itching and slight burning. I took them off, of course. (Also, note that these did not stick well either. My bra held them in place.) My skin was very red and raised where they had been placed. I washed myself off and still had some residual itchiness for about an hour. I do not have sensitive skin, so this was a surprise. It looks like other reviewers note the same experience. If you look under the questions on the Target product listing, you'll see that they didn't want to answer the question about ingredients used. Seems sketchy to me.
