Munchkin Flow Nipple Shield + With See-Thru Channel to Watch Milk Flow

I do love being able to see the milk but I wish it stayed on better. I feel like there’s no suction and it just rests on your skin so my baby just knocks it off constantly. And he gets more frustrated since it takes a few seconds longer to get milk. The sizing is weird. I normally am a 24 but this one is wayyyy too big

It's well made and a well thought out design - however the latch is extremely shallow and is painful for me so it did not work out for me. You can in fact see the flow which gives a peace of mind - however I wish this would have worked better.

When I was at the hospital my baby latched from the moment she was born. I originally asked the LC if she thought this nipple shield was necessary she it’s very clear my baby has no problems latching and it’s not needed. When I got home my baby latched but I felt like she was eating too quickly and get and get hungry frequently so I ordered this and it’s the best purchase ever! I love you can see how much milk your baby is getting and it helped slow down her sucking and now she’s feeding off of both sides and is actually getting full! So glad I made this purchase! Make sure you get the right size or else it’s pointless.

My baby was born early and so he was quite small and when using the flow nipple shield he appeared to struggle to get the milk started on it, but I will say it was comforting to see the actual milk flow through the shield when he did get a hang of it. I also feel that the shape of the nipple didn't allow him to latch on to the whole areola but keep it shallow and ended up hurting after frequent use.

Easy to put on and take off and to clean!! I love how you can see the milk it’s a stress reliever when you don’t know if your baby is pulling milk or not! 10/10

It also comes with a syringe which is great to be able to clean the inside of the shield. The size is perfect and it feels extremely comfortable. This may become my new best friend in my breast feeding journey.

Absolutely invaluable baby item. This saved my breastfeeding journey with my newborn. His latch was pretty terrible in the beginning, but was made worse with how painful and sore my nipples would get. The pain was almost worse than childbirth (I’m not even kidding). It would take my son so long to latch on which only frustrated him more, making his attempts at latching even worse. This shield is amazing and turned it all around for us. Not to mention, I had no idea if my milk was even coming out in the beginning. So this reassured me!! It can be a pain to clean but it’s worth it. Very very worth it!

The material is also very soft so you can barely tell it’s there! I wish I had gotten this way before but I use it every time I breast feed now! It also really helps that you can see the breastmilk coming out since it is see through.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this Nipple shield from Munchkin and Influenster for my review. This shield is size M 20mm. It is 100% food grade silicone, BPA free and clinically tested. It comes with the reusable nipple shield, travel case, and the cleaning syringe. This is the only shield I have seen that lets you watch the milk flow. I think this this is great, and calms your nerves when your worried about if their actually getting the milk in the beginning. My concern is with keeping it clean. I would worry that if you didn’t clean it immediately the milk would solidify in the tube. So I would make sure to clean it right away. Definitely a worthwhile product if you’re needing a shield and would like the peace of mind of seeing the milk transfer.

Clear shield allows you to monitor flow. Even better it comes with its own carrying case to throw in a diaper bag or purse. There is also a cleaning tool provided. Shield does come in different sizes so be mindful when purchasing to get the best fit.

Bought this yesterday after dealing with frustrating latching issues causing stress and lack of sleep. It has dramatically made our situation so much better and baby is eating regularly and latching with no issue now. Thank you for this product!!!

I was apart of the testing group before this product was released. I genuinely, wholeheartedly-heartedly believe that I had a successful breastfeeding journey because of it. My son didn’t latch well. He was diagnosed with failure to thrive at 1 month old as he was losing weight and dropped below the 1st percentile. We started to consistently use this nipple shield with every feed until he was 3.5 months old when he randomly decided that he didn’t need it. (I also nursed and pumped constantly to get my supply back). Well, he was right and now we are 21 months into our breastfeeding journey. Try a nipple shield if you are struggling!!! This shield is nice because you can watch the forward flow of milk. It gives you peace of mind, especially in my case where my son wasn’t nursing well.
