Cotton Velvet Duvet Cover and Sham Set - Threshold™

It is nice. The way it was packed there were a lot of wrinkles in it…I’m sure they will straighten out with time. The slot to put in the comforter seems small. To me the real test is after I wash it…since I won’t be doing that for a while I cannot report on that.

Unfortunately, this duvet cover is much larger than your standard queen comforter inserts. I tried it on several and ended up having to buy an oversized Queen which still did not fill it out all that great. took me a month to get it straightened out. I should have returned it because the cost of this and the new duvet insert was as much as the quince bed cover I really wanted. I do like the color because it goes quite well with my area rug but I do feel like it's going to be quite awkward to sleep under. The workmanship/construction is good but the size is, meh. It lays more like a bedspread. Fortunately, it gets quite cold here in Maine so maybe it will get used during the winter months. Otherwise, it's just an attractive cover over my guest bed, but not that functional.

The item I received was obviously a return as it arrived in an unmarked thin plastic bag and covered in dog hair

I got this is the terra cotta color and I’m so impressed with the quality for the price. Color is rich, fabric is sturdy, backing is a soft sateen.

Beautiful rich color and great fabric. Washed it first and easy to put on my comforter. (It does get knotted up in the dryer so keep an eye on it.) Looks great with the pillow shams! Plus it was on sale!

This is more of a beige pink, but still cute. very calssic looking and feels like durable quality.

Absolutely love this bedding set. The velvet is luxurious and warm. I paired it with a threshold duvet insert and love the feel of how upscale and it is.

Shipping and handling were terrible. The delivered product looked like used , unpackaged product was sent. No package, consumer branding, information about material. Just the wrinkled duvet cover in a plain , clear trash bag, like it was a good will donation. Disgraceful!

Wasn’t sure about velvet as a duvet cover at first, but I’m glad to say that i love it! It’s soft and looks so luxurious. The underside is cotton, not velvet. Adds the warm of blanket as well

After days of looking all over, I decided to go for this duvet cover. The color looks gorgeous, the material is thick and soft to the touch. Made of actual cotton. Definitely recommend it!

Really like this duvet cover. It’s soft and feels well-made, and is a true charcoal grey in-person. Wasn’t sure if I’d like the buttons, but I haven’t had any issues with them yet. From what I can tell both the velvet and the backing are 100% cotton, which is nice. Have washed it once so far, and didn’t have any issues.

This duvet is so soft that it's comforting! The material is velvety and has help up nicely after being washed. My queen comforter fit perfectly insure the duvet. It comes with 2 shams of the same material and the queen pillows fit perfectly unsure of them. The one thing i didn't love about this set is that the color is more of a darker orange than what i felt the photo in the ad represented.

Loving this velvet duvet! The color is the perfect peach and goes with almost any color decor. It's so versatile but also a statement piece. The fabric is very soft and feels like luxury! There are button closures to hold the duvet in and while I usually prefer zippers the placement of these holds the duvet in place with zero slip. Definitely not one to miss! Love love love this cover

This Cotton Velvet Duvet Cover is absolutely stunning! The quality of this duvet is excellent. I love the muted color and it is unbelievably soft. I was very happy that it came with matching shams. Could be light or heavy weight depending on the insert used.

I really like this bedding. The texture makes it look and feel luxurious but within a good price point. I love the color - it’ll be perfect for fall when it’s not too hot or too cold. Terracotta is the perfect description for this color but leans slightly to the pink side.

This duvet cover is a pretty orange/pink color that is definitely terracotta. It matches perfectly with the melon/pink boho vines quilted bedding pictured here. The texture is a bit rougher than some of the other velvet bedding sold at Target, but my husband prefers that so it isn't a problem for us.

Received bedding today by mail but was surprised and disappointed that the pieces were out of the packaging and balled up.

I really wanted to love this, because terracotta as a duvet cover color is so hard to find. Lots of quilts this color, but not duvet covers. This had a little bit of weight to it, which I liked. It was also smooth to touch, not buttery soft like high end, but fitting for the price point. The negatives that caused me to return this is the coloring had a washed denim look. Potentially not an issue for a lighter color, or darker color. This is just such a rich hue, that the color variations were noticeable. I also have a lot of natural light in my bedroom and I felt that added to how noticeable this was. This issue may resolve itself after washing it, and steaming it, but didn't want to risk not being able to return. I would consider re-ordering for my guest room in a color that was darker.
