Q: does this product actually work on toenail fungus?

submitted by ralph - 6 years ago
  • A: No, the products says it is NOT for nail ( or toenail) fungus, just skin fungus.

submitted byJerseyReno - 5 years ago
  • A: Fungi-Nail liquid is clinically proven to cure and prevent skin fungus. It should be applied to affected skin around the toenails and between toes. It is not for nail or scalp fungus.

Q: It’s called “Fungi NAIL” but it’s not for nails? That’s incredibly frustrating and very misleading.

submitted by M - 1 year ago
  • A: Fungal toenail infections can lead to a skin fungus infection between/around your toes, and untreated skin fungus between/around your toes can infect healthy toenails. So, it is important to treat the skin around your toenails and between the toes with Fungi‐Nail. Treating your skin with Fungi‐Nail may help prevent fungus from spreading to healthy skin and toenails. While there is no Over‐the‐Counter treatment for nail fungus, Fungi‐Nail ointment is effective at curing and preventing fungus on the skin (athlete’s foot or interdigital tinea pedis) on/between the toes which if untreated can lead to nail fungus. -Fungi Nail Team

The bottle leaks

I bought a couple bottles of this product when the generic version I normally get was out of stock at Target. This name brand version has additional “supplements” added to it to supposedly help treat fungus; I’d rather just have the medication, personally. This stuff is a very thin liquid that seems to leak easily (the generic brand version is thicker). As a result, the bottle always seems to feel a little oily and I could actually feel sprinkles coming from one of the bottles when I was shaking it; I have no idea where it was leaking from but I wish they’d put a little more R & D into ensuring a sealed bottle rather than adding tea tree oil and whatnot to the product.

INEFFECTIVE PRODUCT FROM A TERRIBLE COMPANY WHOSE MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE IS DECEIPTFUL

This product did nothing for my (minor) toenail fungus, which in and of itself is not a huge problem since I know this type of fungus is very difficult to get rid of without a prescription medication. HOWEVER, my biggest complaint is with the manufacturer, Kramer Labs. I saved the receipt and packaging and sent them in for a refund per their 100% money-back satisfaction guarantee. After 2 months I never received a refund so I emailed the company and was told that a Visa gift card was mailed to me in a plain white envelope. Firstly, a "refund" is a return of money, NOT a gift card! Secondly, if they did mail such a card, it was either not received or I probably tossed it in the recycle with the other junk mail since it was in a plain envelope and Kramer Labs never indicated that would be the method of refund so to look out for it. I responded to the email explaining this and was told a "digital" refund was denied because they had mailed me a gift card. All this for a $10 product -- could a company be more chintzy??!! Bottom line: 1) the product does NOT work and 2) do NOT buy any other products from this manufacturer as they do not respect their customers.

Bad

I tried the Fungi Nail Anti-Fungal Solution While I didn't like it, I noticed in the fine print that it shouldn't be used on fingers. This important detail should be more prominent on the packaging.

FungiNail is NOT for nail fungus...really???

Caveat emptor! This is the most misleading name for a product ever. It is for athlete's foot, NOT for what you'd think it would be for. So deceptive.

Not great

I’d recommend this except that the applicator brush is terrible. A click pen would work much better.

Be patient, it works!

I use at the cuticle and at the edge under the nail. You will notice the white stuff under the nail gets soft enough to scrape out. Also file or if able to cut the nail down as the new nail grows out. Do all this after shower and make sure nails are DRY!

I followed the directions and still no luck

The tiny print on the back of the label says it is not effective on nails. Why is it called Fungi Nail? I have been using this as directed for months (not weeks... months!). I have also been filing my nails down regularly (about once a week) as suggested by other reviewers. I know that nothing will "cure" the already affected nail and that you need to wait for new healthy nail to grow out once the fungus is dead. I have had no new healthy growth after several months of use.
