Disappointing
Does not keep kids safe. Because they can get texts anyone can text them bad images and my son figured out how to go to links friends sent him even though the phone isn't supposed to be able to go on the internet!

It's awful! Constantly sends an alert that my child has left home or school when he hasn't often when he's sitting right next to me. I contacted the support and their only suggestion was to restart the phone. That did NOT resolve the issue.

Love the Gabb Phone 4
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the Gabb Phone 4 Pro to help me tailor what my 10-year-old nephew sees on his phone. Gabb allows hime to use talk+text along with some basic apps (weather, calculator) and ONLY select 3rd party apps that I have to approve on my phone before they can be downloaded. I have peace of mind knowing he’s connected in case we need to reach him but won’t get onto sites, etc. that put him in danger. Gabb’s parental controls also allow me to manage contact permissions and receive alerts for messages with questionable content. I highly recommend. I was given this product in exchange for my honest review.

A Great First Phone for Kids
The Gabb Phone 4 has been a great addition to our family! It was incredibly easy to set up, and he quickly got into a rhythm of how to use it. It has become such an important part of his daily routine, helping him stay on top of reminders and keep in touch with us in safety. The Gabb Phone 4 was selected for its simplicity and making security number one, and it did just great. Still, we think more can be done in notification management-for example, more personalization options of reminders or alerts could make them at least a little more personalized toward each individual's schedule. In any case, the phone is, as mentioned above, without distractions or exposure to harmful content, an excellent means for building independence. We highly recommend it for those families in search of a very safe and reliable first phone for kids.

The Gabb phone 4 is a mobile device specifically designed for kids, which limits its features to essential communication functions, eliminating access to social media, app stores, and internet browsing. However, it does feature GPS tracking. The phone comes with a battery that you install yourself, a USB charging cable, and earbuds. The camera quality and battery life are good. However, setting up and activating the phone is not easy. The phone itself is lightweight and seems fairly inexpensive. The monthly subscription fee is too high. It's a pretty basic phone that only allows calling and texting, and you can't even send photos without a subscription. Overall, while the Gabb phone has some great features for parents looking for a safe and simple option for their kids, its limitations and high subscription fee may make it less appealing to some users.

Honest review

Gabb phone and customer service
Love Gabb so much. Customer service is always very helpful when I need them. They are always courteous. I love Gabb because it has helped my granddaughter become more independent by feeling sade. She has been through a lot and was afraid to leave the house. With her knowing tgat she can contact me as well as me knowing where she is at all times she has been able to go to school and out in public. Not only does the watch not have internet but no one can call her unless they are approved on her contact list. Her texts are preset or she records them. They also have a lock down feature that we can set that she can only contact me during school hours. Plus so much more. . . Gabb is a life saver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gabb Phone 4 is impressive before even opening the box. The phone itself is quite sleek and very attractive. It came with a charger and headphones. Setup was seamless and straightforward. Everything operates like you would expect a smart phone to. The camera is pretty nice too. I chose Gabb Phone 4 for its safety features like location tracking and safe messaging. I can even create safety zones and I’m alerted when my child leaves one. I love that there’s no internet so my child’s innocence is protected. I love that I get alerted if he receives or sends a potentially harmful message. I can approve his contacts as well. Now when he’s on his way home from school, I can keep up with his route and he texts me along the way. It’s an added peace of mind. The music app a curated catalog of songs that are appropriate for children/tweens. My son loves the notes app too. I’m quite impressed with the Gabb Phone 4. It’s innovative. Wonderful option
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This should be the standard for phones for children. The safety measures and tracking are built in and bulletproof. My 11 year old was asking for a phone to communicate with her friends. Without a house phone we started looking for mobile phone options and many seemed to wide open for our comfort level. She loves that it looks like any other phone on the market. I appreciate that the only apps have to be approved by a parent (easy to do from your phone) and social media isn't even an option. Being able to see all phone calls, contacts and texts makes for easy parental oversight. Set up was quick and painless. I find that she uses the phone as we intended it - communicating with family and friends, but it doesn't seem to have the hold on her that other devises do with social apps and other things to spiral on. I hope this becomes the standard for children with access to mobile devises. I was given this product in exchange for my honest review.

Great 1st Phone!
Gabb Phone 4 has been a great first phone for my son! It has been very reliable for him to call and text, and we havent had any issues with the signal stength. The built in parental controls are great. For example, if an inappropriate text is detected, I get a notification on my phone. He doesn't use the apps that much, but we have recently upgraded to the 4 plus, and I'm sure he will start using them more.

Excellent customer service
Excellent customer service!! I had ordered a free upgrade phone, and in the process of getting the phone set up I accidentally added another line. Before I had a chance to call and try to get the problem fixed, customer service has texted me and asked if I had any problems. I texted back my problem and they fixed it via text in less than 20 minutes. Best customer service I’ve had in a REALLY long time.

Gabb phone 4 your child will love
I honestly love this product. I’m going to be 100% honest. I had an Apple Watch for my son then I went to get him a T-Mobile watch and for some reason I as a parent wasn’t satisfied. With Gabb is different my son can text me and call me, he has what he needs, I know his exact location and is super accurate. Thank you Gabb for creating something that is great!!

The phone is pretty good.
The phone is pretty good. My biggest problem with it is that the GPS isn't very accurate. We purchased the phone specifically for the GPS functionality to keep tabs on our kid and it often says the phone is in completely different places, making the tracking function not optimal. It's nice to have but unfortunately I can't trust it to know where they actually are.
