A Great Spin on Sushi Go!

From the creators of Sushi Go!, this game is just as fun. Following a similar concept as Sushi Go! where you score points based on each kind of food item, this game will be a hit for quick games and good times. Honestly made me a bit hungry just playing it. The design is exceptional with a spinning lazy susan to imitate a real dim sum family style table. A great game for kids and adults and the price is a great value if you're looking to gift or add a game to your own personal collection,

We had fun with this one. We also have the regular card game version, so we thought we'd try this one. We enjoyed both.

Cute design but clunky game

It is a really cute concept but as a game, we found it clunky and not very interesting game play. Sushi Go Party is definitely the better game for a bigger group.

Concept is good, but game layout is strange and crowded. The wheel that you “spin” is not designed to spin well… very stiff. My kids couldn’t do it easily. Trying to lay out your items and still reach the spinner/cards was hard, and it felt crowded even with 4 players. Can’t imagine 8! Putting the items back in the box was tricky and things didn’t seem to fit back in well or have a way to contain the cards and chopsticks. Also, with only collecting 12 cards per game, it seemed hard to actually get the cards we needed to collect points. The squishy bun is very cute and the cards are adorable, but gameplay and materials are not ideal. Oh, and it’s nearly impossible to shuffle the cards (which instructions mention should be done)… we happened to have an automatic card shuffler, and that’s the only way we could get them shuffled. I’d stick with the tradition sushi go!

We got this during the holiday sale and played it a few times cause we were excited by the dim sum concept, the squishy, and the lazy Susan. We are HUGE fans of Sushi Go Party, and this game has an air of it, but the original card games are still unbeaten. This one is a nice little concept of a game but plays a bit clumsy since the lazy Susan plastic contraption is very stiff (will play a ton better if you just spin the top part on top of a tablecloth rather than the base or comes with). The menu cards are just a tad small so your dim sum is never quiet in the right place. Seems like some corners were cut to keep production value low. It also felt like collecting just 12 cards kept the game too short when played by 3 players. Hard to collect many points. Overall: cute gift, just an average play. Go for Sushi Go or Sushi Go Party instead if you don’t have them!

As a Chinese person from Hong Kong, it's about time that there's a dim sum themed board game. The game is super easy to learn, and the illustrations are super cute. Look just like the dim sum I have had all my life.

So we are just randomly mixing Asian food styles? The original game was super fun and cute. This is lazy marketing mixing Japanese food and Chinese food as if it’s the same thing. Sure, not the biggest issue in the world - but lazy marketing and honestly offensive to two very distinct cultures and countries.

Super cute and fun game. Easy to learn. The box looks cute with the steam bun in the window but not great for putting away. No bag or spot to put chopstick and plate tokens. I really appreciate when games are super fun and thought I’d put into organization for ease of putting away

My family LOVES the game Sushi Go so when I saw this game, I had to have it. It is so cute and fun. The squishy was a hit with my son and he asked to play over and over again, he loved the turn-table action.
