A: No but you should play BoxONE rather than playing BoxTWO. It's way better and actually has a plot/story to keep you engaged. BoxTWO is basically just a random amalgam of unconnected puzzles.

A: You can play solo, or as a team working together to solve it. My BF and I played together and had a blast!

A: You do not need to complete Box One to play Box Two! It's an entirely different, separate experience that is completely standalone. Have fun!

The engineering of this one was so incredibly cool. Maybe relies too much on its online companion part of the game, but it does a good job of giving you as many hints as you request. Perhaps more balanced than the first in that regard. Very fun, a good sequel to the first. Can’t wait for the third!

Prefacing with saying how sincerely I wanted to love this game, as I’m always raving to friends about Box1. When I saw this today while out shopping, I nearly cried from excitement. I just finished the box, and I found myself more frustrated and annoyed than happy upon completion. I think the premise is still great, and I love an actual escape room for one person in a box, but I quite literally had to smash one of the components to get it to open to access another component. A hint told me to pry it open, and that didn’t even work. I ended up breaking a pair of tweezers doing that before deciding to destroy it. I am excited for a potential Box3, but I’m definitely left frustrated with this one.

I got this for Christmas. I thoroughly enjoyed this game. Anyone that likes logic puzzles and hint based puzzles, Box Two is for you.

We were so excited for this after Box One, which is by far the best puzzle box I’ve ever played. The puzzle (you’ll know what I’m talking about) was incredibly frustrating to get together right off the bat. I was pretty disinterested from then on. I saw a YouTube review that was spot-on. It’s an incredibly frustrating experience where you deal with a chatbot the whole time, pretending it’s a real person so you have to wait for them to respond. It’s basically holding your hand telling you how to use the included items. One of them didn’t work right, so I typed in responses until I got it right. Finally got to a point that didn’t make sense at all, and the hints didn’t offer any help. After 20 more minutes of frustration, we decided to just “put it away,” never to see the light again. Now I have to get out of this crappy mood it put me in. Ugh. Just go buy a nice bottle of liquor and do something that makes you happy.

Seriously loved this game. Coming from a family who enjoys escape rooms, this was the closest thing you could get and still have a board game. We enjoyed all the parts and pieces, and thought the hints system was helpful, though we didn’t need many. Can’t wait for him to release box 3!

I stumbled upon Box One a few years ago and has so much fun it set me on a path to exploring different puzzles and ARGs. So I was naturally very exctited to receive Box Two as a gift. Not only is the game innovative and engaging, but the quality of the product itself will have you wondering "how did they make this?!?" You don't need to be a puzzle expert to play as there are (no spoilers!) some built in ways to get hints if you need them. One of the best qualities of the game is that once you've solved it, you can easily reset it so that someone else can play just as you did! Highly recommend!

I loved box 1 and was so excited to see a box 2 of NPH's puzzle game. This is an absolute must have for anyone who loves puzzles and mysteries. It makes a fantastic gift, and it can even be reset so everyone in the family can play. I can't talk this one up enough.

Another home run. A followup to Box One.l, which was such a unique and stunning experience. This one was a bit shorter. A bit more hand held along the way. However still a fantastic escape experience. And tesettable to boot? I intend to pass it along and double the fun. A must have for escape game fans

I have really enjoyed both Box One and Box Two. The genius is how nearly all the pieces are used more than once, I'm not sure if a piece has other mysteries I don't see immediately, and how it's a mixture of puzzlers and easy wins.

If you’ve played Box 1 and think, “oh this has to be good,” walk away. There’s too much hand holding, the accompanied AI that you can’t avoid is frustrating. The “hints” given are very misleading and I pretty much solved the box accidentally within the first few minutes but was forced to take pointless quizzes online. And the amount of videos of Neil just being Neil, without anything to do with the actual box, I will never get those hours back from my life.
