Garden Republic Bonsai Garden Grow Kit

Cute kit with nice seed variety. All seed types sprouted, but germination rate was only about 25%. As of writing this review, all seedlings are still alive.

Total waste of time, money, and space. I planted these in October 2024 and watered them as directed for nearly a year. NOTHING sprouted in either of the 3 pots I planted them in. Took up counter space. Boring.

I opened my box and noticed that there was a missing jute bag. The company (Garden Republic) does not quality check their items prior to sending them out. They wouldn't even assist me with sending one out and wanted me to reach out to Target to get a refund. They claimed they do not have any spare parts, but that doesn't make sense as their company is the one that sends them out to places like Target to sell. The company itself sucks and doesn't care about people purchasing their items and not receiving everything as advertised. They do not admit their mistakes and just throws their problems to the retail companies stocking their products on their shelves. 1/5 stars. Would not recommend any products from them.

The idea is great and the kit is nicely put together but the combination of seeds they put together is not logical. The growing temperature ranges from one plant needing 65 degrees and the other needs 85. Dumb

Sent this out for a bday gift and my friend loved it! She loves the challege of growing these

Box was so difficult to open because the wooden lids are poorly cut. Got some splinters trying to open it and still unable to open it and get to my seeds and materials.
