Our Gardener's Lifetime Cape Cod Weeder is hand-forged from the finest high-carbon Swedish boron steel with a pointed, self-sharpening tip. Unlike flimsy tools that are stamped from thin stainless steel, this weeder is ready for a lifetime of use by serious gardeners. To give it extra strength and durability, a 4" metal tang extends into the handle, which is securely fastened with a welded socket. The hardwood handle is made of sustainably grown European ash. Gardener's Lifetime Tools are handmade for us in Holland by DeWit -- a fourth-generation, family-owned business that has been crafting fine gardening tools for more than a century.

Nifty little tool
Used it to help in removing weeds in my yard that spread through rhizomes. This tool is very strong and very sharp. I had to pull pretty hard at times and there was absolutely no bending in the metal. I would definitely buy another, but I don't think I will ever have to.

This weeder makes weeding so easy! It cuts the average weed time in half! It effortlessly removes weeds! I Love this cape cod weeder! The handle is really comfortable so no hand fatigue! make sure you order for Right handed or Left handed so you get the tool for you.

I have bought at least 2 of these and have loved them.
My son gave me another one for Christmas from Gardener's Supply. The blade has no sharpness to it.

Best little weeder EVER
Even my husband loves this weeder. It weeds between flagstone walkway and took less than 15 minutes to weed vegetable garden. It is sharp and VERY well made. It also has lifetime warranty. I bought a second one as gift for my daughter.

Favorite Gardening Tool
Hands Down; my favorite gardening tool. I have large gardens and keeping up with weeds until they fill in is a chore. This weeder greatly reduces the task. Dandelions come back until they're cut about 3 times then the root seems to give up. No way, could I keep up in the springtime without this tool.

The Only Hand Tool I Use
This is the only hand tool I use in my garden. It's great for weeding, tilling small areas, planting, and clearing out under plants. I have given it to many friends as gifts! I highly recommend it! Makes a perfect gift for your gardening friends.

Best garden tool ever!!!!!!
I've had my cape cod weeded for over 20 years and it still works great. Loosens weeds from the root and lifts them out, able to get in tight spots, sturdy and dependable. I'm buying one for my daughter in law for Christmas. It helps to clean and oil it T the end of the season before storing your tools for the winter. With very heavy use consider sharpening it in the spring to give it a fresh edge.

Makes quick work of weeding
Weeding in my multiple garden beds. While waiting for my perennials to grow and shade out weeds this tool makes quick work of weeding. After the perennials fill in there may be a stray weed underneath. I can easily remove it with the Cape Cod weeder.

The Cape Cod weeder was recommended to me years ago by a professional gardener. It is one of the most useful tools I own. It's one hooked blade is so versatile to loosen soil, to get under stubborn weeds, and even get those that grow in the cracks in the sidewalk.
