If you do container gardening at all, this trowel is a good investment. The size works well in containers large and small, eliminating the space problems associated with larger trowels. My favorite feature is the sharp edges on the trowel blade, making it much easier to run the trowel around the inside edge of a container to cut away roots that can make transplanting difficult. I was not expecting this trowel to make so much improvement in working with containers, and I've been truly surprised and impressed.

Very well made and will last for many seasons. Love the black metal blade. Fits in my tool belt. And does the job day after day. I may order another one but with a smaller blade. All your tools are exceptional. Could be less expensive.

Works well in loose soil when preparing to plant. Sharp edge and point help with breaking up harder soil.

If you want to get your planting jobs done. You can't beat this little trowel! Fits in my hand well and is comfortable to use for a few hours. My hand never gets sore. Love this item.

I have used this little tool in very hard lake bottom clay, and it can break up the top layer easily if I slide it into the ground at an angle.. I have used it for weeding and it will easily get into the soil under the weeds and lift them out.. It is very sturdy, and the wooden handle is just the right shape and size.. I wear Atlas work gloves, and their gray rubber grip makes this work even better for me.. It took awhile to get this because it comes from Holland, but it was worth the wait for sure !

It took me a while to buy this because of the price. It could be because this is imported from Holland. It's very well made, the handle is made of wood and the metal has a substantial weight to it. Digging a hole for planting is easy because of the weight and the size of this tool. I always see this being used by Laura from Garden Answer and I thought I should try it. This is one of her favorite garden tools and I now know why. This will become my favorite as well.

I decided this year that I was investing in real hand tools that can be maintained and sharpened. I absolutely love the weight, edge, ability to maintain this! I always hurt my hands trying to loosen up bales of pro mix while potting/transplanting. This beautiful right-tool-for-the-job cuts into the potting soil easily, scoops plants out of pots with that curve; easy to sharpen. I didn't realize how much I needed this until I had it in my hand. I have linseed oil for the handle but haven't had to use it yet.
