Great if you are in the Garmin ecosystem

Works well with the Garmin watches and Approach. My main complaint is it is slower to lock onto the flag and sometimes never does but still gives you a yardage. It seems to have trouble with background clutter and the range can fluctuate before it settles on the right yardage. That being said once it gives you a range and plays like number they seem accurate. The pairing with the watch is what sets it apart and makes the slight delay in yardage worthwhile. Overall I would say buy it if you are in the Garmin ecosystem if not look at some others first.

I traded “down” from the digital Approach. The score keeping feature was really nice but that was it. I was not a fan of the digital display compared to a traditional see through sight. The Z30 works flawlessly and while it’s sync’d to the phone and watch, all the information is right in front of me. Not shooting and scrolling to find what I am looking for. Really happy with it

Super clean design and love how it syncs up with my Garmin Fenix 8 and lets me know yardage no matter where I am on the hole
Love that it connects to my watch

I have the Garmin approach s40 and I love it, I bought the Z30 because it connects to my watch .. instead of trying to move the pin in the right spot on the watch I just shoot the flag with the Z30 and it goes right to my watch giving me the number.
Great Integration into Garmin Products

When I bought this, I wasn't' sure about the value that this product would add to my game. Instant sync with my Garmin watch gives me great insight into what shot I should hit. An added bonus is getting the yardage in front of and behind the pin. Great product!
Great Addition to Garmin System

If you own a Garmin Golf watch, this is a no-brainer. You only have to shoot the flag once, and the yardage is displayed on your watch for the entire hole. This saves a lot of time and is very convenient. I would give it 4.5 stars. It is a bit slow to vibrate to indicate it has locked on the flag.
Great love it with the Fenix 8

Extremely happy to use but I would have to say I would not have purchased unless I had a Fenix 8 watch because it just adds so much to knowing what you have in front of you

I am on my 2nd one since the 1st stopped calculating range after 5 or 6 rounds. Garmin replaced it pretty quick and the 2nd seems to be doing better. I am about 3-4 rounds in with it though. Would 100% give it a 5 if i didn't have to warranty it once already
Amazing rangefinder but no working discount codes

I own serveral rangefinders. Mostly a bushnell guy, but I decided to give this a try. It works great and if you have the garmin golf app it can give you a better location of where the pin is in relationship to the green.

I enjoy knowing the pin location (front to back) when paired with the Garmin Golf app. I would like to see manual club data inputs for club selection by the range finder.
Failed after 3 rounds of use.

It stopped measuring flag distances after 3 rounds. It just shows dash lines.

Purchased this as a secondary range finder for vacation home. First time using and it was a breeze! Paired with my Garmin S62 Approach watch no problem. When ranging the flagstick, it automatically shows on my watch.

Have the Z30 and the S62 watch - there was talk of a delay in comunication bewteen the two but I haven't expericned that at all. It's fast, provides the pin location on the watch and the accuracy between the 2 is spot on. It also locates the pin fast and delivers a solid vibration. I'm going to also pair up the CT10 club sensors and considering the RS50 Launch monitor as they are all connected and will dial in club yardages. In short the connectivity and data provided is amazing

I have a Premium Garmin watch and the Garmin Golf app. Synched to both; however, the rangefinder does not connect to the watch, and is constantly disconnecting to Bluetooth. Also if your not n using the app the rangefinder doesn't work. I own the z82 rangefinder and experience the same issues with synching to the app. Great concept if it worked. Will continue to just use my Garmin golf watch. I am very te h savy so not a user error.

I'm on unit number 3, as first two just stopped working. Hit button, and LEDs light up but no distance measurement. They report having made a change in manufacturing so I'm hopeful 3 is a charm. I also don't have much success integrating with my EPIX gen 2, where I shoot and green comes up with front back pin distances... when I shoot partners location and then drive up to my ball :-) it should show same info but does not...worked at first, but perhaps I'm doing something wrong.
