allergic reaction and rash to new formula. I’ve been using the red bottle version for years and never had a problem this green one I wound up in urgent care for hives and a rash.

Worst shampoo and conditioner for thick frizzy hair, i took a chance after reading all the bad reviews just because different hair types but im Hispanic with thick hair and this product makes my hair SUPER dry and unmanageable. Waste of money and im writing this review after 3 weeks so im being very honest.

Hate this new shampoo. Bring back the red container one!

This shampoo is amazing. I have eczema, but still wanted my shampoo to smell good. I read that color treated shampoo was a good option. Not only does this not irritate my eczema, the acai berry helps with inflammation!! I am obsessed with this shampoo and conditioner!!

I love the smell of this item. It keeps my color longer and makes my hair so smooth.

The Red bottle was great! I had bought several bottles a while back and recently ran out. Bought the new Green bottles, figuring it was the same but different packaging. Within 2 weeks (I don't even use it every day), I have an awful rash on my face! Extremely unhappy and disappointed!

I do wish it was more affordable or that the larger sizes were more available, but it is a great shampoo. I color my hair red, and it's a color that's known to bleed. I never have that issue with this shampoo. (*If you have blue hair, you're going to notice more color bleeding, merely because some colors--like blue--will almost always bleed. It's always the beautiful fun colors that are the hardest to maintain :p ) This also depends on the kind of hair color you use (I use Feria), but for its price point, this is the best shampoo I've found to avoid loss of color. I've tried samples of $60-80 shampoos before (received as promos or gifts from friends who are hair stylists), and Garnier still wins out. If you use those high end brands, save yourself some money and give Garnier a try. If it doesn't work for you, I'm sorry it doesn't help, but if your experience is like mine, you'll be saving so much money long term while still being able to enjoy coloring your hair! I also never have problems with dandruff or any skin irritation with Garnier. I hope this review is helpful! Happy coloring & maintaining! :)

Why?! Why on earth did you change the formula on my beloved conditioner?

My scalp been very itchy since I started using this shampoo, i was advised to use it because of my colored hair, but so much I’m regretting now, I’m stop right now! And returning an extra bottle I have, if i recommend NO! My scalp is constantly burning :-(

I have been using this shampoo and conditioner for years. It's the only combination that keeps my red hair vibrant longer and soft. I recommend if you want your dyed hair healthy.

Awful. I used the first Colour Shield shampoo and conditioner that you ever made and those were the best. The second formula in the pink bottle was ok and smelled nice but this last formula made my scalp break out in welts amd I'm afraid to use it anymore. Why do you keep changing such a good shampoo?

It lathers well and haven’t noticed color fade but o have developed a horrible rash that burns and itches on my neck hairline after only a few used.

The color shield shampoo that was in the red bottles is superior to the new green bottle ones. I am very disappointed. Why was it changed? Where can I get the red bottle ones?

It is alwful, you should never have changed the formula ! What a mess!

I came to this website to look for a new shampoo. I liked the ingredient list for this (green bottle). I bought a bottle of it today (also green bottle) and the ingredient list on my bottle is completely different from the ingredients listed on this website.

I have a sensitive scalp and have been using the original color shield conditioner since it came out with no issues. I didn’t realize the formula changed until I wasn’t able to find the red bottle. I purchased a bottle of the new formula hoping it would be even better..To my disappointment it makes my hair feel like straw and now I’ve broken out in a rash. Between this and discounting my favorite BB cream I don’t think I’ll be a Garnier customer any longer.

I used the old formula for years and always got compliments on my hair’s shine and the fragrant smell. Please go back to the old formula.

New formula made my scalp itch and my hair in bad condition. I used old red bottle shampoo for years and it was great. Can't use new at all. The smell is also not good at all makes. My eyes burn without even getting shampoo in it.

I have used the product in red bottle for years and have always like the results. However I was disappointed that it now has been changed (green bottle). Couldn t figure out why my hair looked dull and got dirty within a day. I have no idea why or how it was changed. Bring back the old formula!
