It takes the make up off but smells horrible. I like the consistency and the amount you get, but it has a strong chemical smell almost like ant poison. I am going back to the Nuetragena balm

I really like this product! I used to use the Good Molecules brand and although that brand is affordable, I was going through 1 tin a month of their cleansing balm. I decided to try this one just because it’s double the size for a similar price and so far I’m enjoying it! It also emulsifies nicely once you add water.

I bought this to try in place of the elf balm cleanser and it is in noooo way even close! Had to go over my face twice to remove as much as Elf removes in one try and it leaves this white residue on your hands.

I have used this for a week now, both to remove makeup and as my daily cleanse, and so far it seems to work good. My pores seem to be clearer, and it is hydrating. The smell is pretty strong--it smells like sunscreen to me--so if you are sensitive to smell you won't like this. It does remove waterproof mascara well but it is difficult not to get in your eyes and it stings...that's my major complaint.
