This product leaves a waxy like feel once trying to rinse off with water. Does not fully come off and “melt away” as expected. Will be going back to the elf making melting balm.

I really like this product. It works really well to remove makeup and it doesn't make my skin dry when I rinse it off. The only thing is if I were to describe the smell, it smells slightly like duct tape.

Worked with my sensitive skin

I have sensitive skin and it didn’t break me out so that’s a plus. But the do feel it’s just another step I would have to add in my routine because I have to cleanse my face again to feel clean after. So I’m just sticking with my product that does both

Works great, but has a slight unpleasant odor
This is my third jar, so obviously I really like how it works on my mature skin for the price point. It simplifies my nighttime routine by eliminating some steps and works quickly so I don’t rub or scrub just to get my makeup off. I’m more likely to take the extra two minutes to clean my skin nightly, even when I’m exhausted. I also use disposable cotton face towels to minimize contaminants and keep my routine the same when I travel. It takes off everything! It is unscented, so there is no overly fruity or floral aroma. However, this most recent jar has a different smell to it. It has a slight “fishy” or kind of underlying rancid odor. Did the ingredients change? Or did I get bad batch?

BURNT MY SKIN
IT BURNT ME!! I used it once and rinsed it off, and my cheeks were extremely red and were burning. It’s been a few days and my cheeks are still red and they are super scaly and damage.

Strong Chemical Smell
This balm not only didn’t remove all of my non-waterproof mascara, but also smells heavy of chemicals - like bug spray. Would not recommend if your nose functions.

I regret purchasing this balm. This balm feels like diaper rash cream. It almost coats your face in an oil-like waxy substance that’s waterproof. I have not been able to cleanse my face with this and wash it all off. It leaves behind a white film that has to be wiped off. Left my skin and eyes irritated. DO NOT BUY.

Love this gentle clenser
At 52 with combination skin it has been difficult to find a cleansing routine that removes the oil but doesn’t leave my face feeling tight, dry and irritated or one that the oil returns soon after. This gentle cleanser leaving my skin feeling amazing. Moisturized but clean.
