The green charger shown in the pictures is not the charger we received. We were sent a cheaper black charger; we were not pleased with this bait and switch tactic.

The bump feed gets stuck routinely and the strength of the tool is fairly weak. I gave it one season to win me over, but it never did. I will be purchasing a new trimmer next year.

Bump feed getting stuck, check that the guard is cleared of debris. Build up debris on the underside of the guard may prevent the line from cutting at its full potential. Ensure the cutting blade located on the underside of the guard is exposed, clean and clear of debris. If the blade is dull sharpen or replace the cutting blade. This will allow your trimmer line to work more effectively. We hope this tip helps! Great for a small yard. Easy to handle and start. I wasn’t great at edging at first but have the hang of it now and my yard looks perfectly manicured. Love the fact that it is battery operated. I have the Greenworks mower and love it. Thank you Greenworks for great products.

I absolutely LOVE this trimmer. It works much better than imagined and so much easier than my last gas trimmer. No more oil, gas problems, no pulling, much less shaking. In fact minimal hand irritation and so much more quieter than my old gas trimmer. Works fast and I get my full acre lawn worth of trimming done in a full charge. Very impressed with this and highly recommend if you are on the fence. Battery charges pretty fast right out of the box and its lighter and easier to use than traditional gas powered trimmers. Just 100% pleased.

Pretty good when the line extends. It doesn't come out when bumped and sometimes gets lost inside resulting in disassembly.

Hello bmbfan, I am sorry to hear about your experience. Please be advised only 1/4 inch of trimmer line is extended when you bump the head. Trimmer line tends to break off when the trimmer line makes contact with hard surface areas. Therefore more line is required. If the line gets too short it does roll back into the trimmer head. The trimmer line should be 2-3 inches out of the trimmer head while in operation. We advise extending the line prior to use and keeping an eye on trimmer line when the unit is in use so it does not get too short. Assembling instructions poor...the knob to attach the handle is broken

I had difficulty assembling the trimmer STG304 The instructions were poorly issustrated. The handle knob is not usable it is too short to reach the screw in blot.

Battery went out so quickly. Call customer service since product is warranty they ship new battery out. Like many battery products often battery is the issue. I like the products here and will buy different tools. I give 3 stars because the product is really new purchase but customer service is ok

The overall battery life is dependent on many factors such as where they have been stored, charged, and handled. When the battery will not be in use, we suggest storing it indoors, in a cool dry area - away from direct sunlight. Leave the charger unplugged and the battery disconnected from the charger unless it needs charging. It is recommended to store the battery with a full charge, and if it is being stored for a period where no use is expected, to check on the charge every couple of months. If you notice the charge has dropped, we advise charging the battery back up to full before returning it to its safe storage place. Following these steps will ensure you receive the most of the battery life. This helps enhance the life of the battery. Once it is fully charged, the next charge will return to standard charging. We hope these suggestions will help!
