My power cord blower is stronger compared to my green works battery operated blower but only noticeable when using on heavy wet leaves which obviously tend to weigh more. Both tools are lightweight and easy to handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The machine is light, easy to operate and handles very well. BUT, the battery life is atrocious. It promises 45 minutes of battery life, and I barely got 15 minutes. With fully charged batteries installed, the three green bars on the handle immediately go to two. The mower has a compartment for two extra batteries in the rear, and when I insert batteries in there, they don't register as active on the dashboard on the handle. To cut my lawn (no more than 1/3 of an acre), I needed two days. I got the back cut (barely) with 96v of batteries. Charged them overnight and cut the front with fresh 48 the next day. I'll give it one more try, otherwise it's a return. It's too bad because everything else about the machine is really nice.

The green charger shown in the pictures is not the charger we received. We were sent a cheaper black charger; we were not pleased with this bait and switch tactic.

I recently moved into a home with no external power outlets and needed to find a solution to keeping the property tidy. This leaf blower has exceeded my hopes. It is not too heavy, but it's powerful, it's easy to use - even with my small-ish hands. Plus, it uses the same batteries as my other Greenworks tools. I'm impressed with the sturdiness of these tools; and have had no problems with them. I have repeatedly recommended them to friends.

I also absolutely love that I never have to haul gas cans to and from the gas station ever again. I will never switch back to a gas powered push mower!

Hello dwojo. Thank you for sharing your experience. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with the run time of this battery when used in this blower. This machine must have two batteries to run. Users must use (2) fully charged Greenworks 24V battery packs. Do not use battery packs other than Greenworks 24V. Using only one battery pack will not start the machine. Ensure both batteries are charged 100%. If each battery has a different charge state, the run-time of the machine is subject to the lowest powered battery (For example: one battery is charged 100%, and the other is charged 50%, the unit will only run until the 50% battery is depleted). When using (2) batteries with different amp hours (Ah), the machine will run until the lower (Ah) battery is depleted. When used on High-speed the unit will provide up to 15 minutes runtime. To extend your run time, try using the blower setting on a lower speed when high speed is not a requirement, as blowers are considered a high-power draw application which means they do tend to drain the battery quite rapidly in comparison to some other tools. Alternatively additional batteries can be purchased to extend the run time. This unit is compatible with all Greenworks 24v batteries; please keep in mind, the higher the ampere-hour (AH) rating is, the longer the run time will be.
