Q: When you separate the three pieces; is the hole that connects the tunnel closed or remains open? Is this machine washable?
submitted by Alisha - 1 year ago
A: Yes. Each piece can be used independently. Not sure if it is washable, I would say that the ball pit could be washed on gentle cycle, the rest has plastic/metal that holds the structure so not sure.

Q: Can the tunnel and ball bit be used separately or do they have to be connected?
submitted by Nnnn - 1 year ago

Q: how many balls should you put in this?
submitted by Inaaya - 1 year ago
A: If it’s going to be up all the time; probably 300-400. If you plan to use it on the go more; 100 just so there are some to play but definitely will not cover the bottom.

Zero for quality
Total garbage with zero quality control. You can’t even properly secure the poles because the tie downs are missing and to top it off if you look at the instructions the design is completely deferent tan the product received. Don’t even wast your time.

You CAN set up the ball pit - here's how
When I got home and looked this up after buying it in-store, I was spooked by all of the reviews claiming it was impossible to set up the ball pit because the tabs were sewn down/non-existent. I 100% thought that was the case with mine, too, until I realized that there's a small gap in the stitching near the bottom outside of the tent where you're supposed to insert the pole. It's not very intuitive and hard to spot haha. The quality seems great to me otherwise!! The fabric is soft and not plastic-y like most other toys in this genre. I think my daughter will love it. Anyway- just wanted to share this tip in case anyone else was confused/spooked by the quality reviews and ball pit setup. It can be done, promise!!

Not worth it.
Great colors but awful material. If it gets wet it will leave a stain. Tried to spot clean with water and the water left a stain spot. No way to clean without making it look worse.

Do not waste your money
It looks nice but it is an awful product. We’ve only had it set up for the morning and I’ve had to fix the tent poles 3x as they keep slipping out of the pockets. The material isn’t great for kids either. I will be returning asap.

Read the reviews. Defective ball pit
My ball pit was missing holes to put the sticks in and I couldn’t set it up. Material is very thin and mine was shedding once opened and put together. Not the best play tent on the market and seems like it was mass produced quickly. Very disappointed.

Trust the reviews. Not worth trying.
Cute but not good quality. Very flimsy material and thin. The rods are not stable enough for it be played in. Will be returning

Awful product. CAUTION
Poorly quality. The stitching isn’t done correctly and most of the ties for the rods are stitched on the outside. Also missing a whole piece to it as well.

Not safe
This product should be recalled. Quality is defective, steel rods poke throw the fabric and caused my toddle a skin burn.

Perfect Toddler Reading Nook
We love this tent and tunnel play set! the colors are perfect and it holds up better than cheap wire pop up tents we have had before from Amazon. My toddler loves to cuddle up in her comfy chair with a book in her tent!

Not worth it
The ball pit uses rods to hold it up… the instructions show an image of inserting the rods into the open pockets… the pockets came literally sewn too and bottom. There’s no opening for any of the rods. Same with the pockets for the tent. The bottom pockets should be open to have the rods inserted… they’re sewn , not open. The only reason the tent is able to kind of stay up is because the top pockets are open and the ties in the middle portion of the tent hold its structure. There is no way for me to get the ball pit up unless I cut through the fabric and open the pockets

Looks nice but not safe for kids, poor quality
I love Gathre so I immediately bought this when I found out they have a less expensive line at Target. Sadly this item looks great but is poor quality. The circular wire that lines the edges of the tent base and tunnel feel hard and sharp through the fabric. I've hurt my knees crawling over them. My husband even stepped on it on accident and was shocked at how painful the wire can feel. I would always place a blanket over the edges to cover the hard wires. The tent isn't stable because the poles are tied and exposed instead of being covered completely by fabric (like on other tents). The poles will come apart if your kid leans a little on the tent sides. When I was folding up the ball pit one of the wires actually came apart and broke. I had to put it back together by sliding the two pieces together. The ball pit is also not that stable and if your kid leans a little the ball pit will fall over to one side. One of the little ties to tie all the parts together started ripping. I don't think this tent is safe for kids so I ended up throwing it away after realizing how sharp and hard the wires feel. I have many Gathre items which are amazing and great quality but this item isn't the same. The only thing nice about this tent is that it's esthetically pleasing.

Poor Quality
Great idea in concept, but the fabric breaks easily - almost all of the poles have popped through and we've only had it up for a month.

Fabric Ripped Almosf Immediately
The poles broke through the fabric of the tent less than a month of using it. I do not consider my kids very rough with their toys and like the other reviews, very disappointed with the quality for a toy marketed for toddlers. We own several products from the parent company (Gathre) so I was interested in seeing what their more affordable brand would be like and it’s not it. Low quality materials, not designed for toddler play, very disappointing.

Disappointment
Very cute but is not kid friendly. More for looks. Not stable enough to be played in, which is why I bought it. & Very over priced to not be able to USE it.
