Q: Can this be used for puppies

A: The balls are very flimsy and our puppies will chew them to bits if not fully supervised. But they also love jumping in and out of it.

I bought more balls on Temu bc the included 250 weren’t enough. 400 balls is good for him. I throw his favorite toy in it and he has a ball “swimming” to find it.

A: There is a separate cover around the outside structure of the ball pit. Then another cover around the "floor" of the ball pit. All of which can be removed and washed in the washing machine.

Great Budget-Friendly Ball Pit That Holds Up Well
The Playtopia Foam Ball Pit has been a great addition to our playroom! It’s not quite as high-end as some of the pricier brands, but for the price, it really delivers. My son has been using it since he was 12 months old (he’s now 20 months), and it’s held up wonderfully through months of active play. The ball count that comes with it is definitely on the low side, we added an extra 250 balls, and that made all the difference. The foam is sturdy, and the cover is machine washable, which is a must. It was a bit of a struggle to get the cover back on after washing, but it didn’t damage the shape of the pit at all. Definitely recommend for anyone not looking to splurge on a high-end version.

Very cute and aesthetically pleasing. I like that it’s a soft foam material. The balls are a little flimsy. They smash easily if a bigger kid plays on them lol. But it does come with enough that a few missing doesn’t matter. I’ve probably tossed over 40 balls (because older kid and a big dog) and it’s still filled up in the bottom.

My infant adores this. We have used from 5-10 months so far. Definitely wouldn’t hold up if I allowed my 4 year old to play in it roughly but great for appropriate use for, I would guess 6-18 months.
