This is my 3rd Gazelle Tent (added to our 1-T4, 1-T3) and it looks like the others, but the workmanship is not the same. This one leaks at 3 of the hubs on first use. Also, one of the support bars are bent, and also has a nasty crease in the sidewall that is nearly a razor cut. I would still recommend Gazelle, just make sure you inspect it before your first trip.

We set this tent up 8 times in 8 days. It was amazingly easy to pop upand use, but had a couple of issues. One of the grab handles tore from the duffle bag on the 1st day. The second handle came off the bag on the 2nd day. By the 3rd day some of the metal ends on the rain fly poles came off because they were not crimped onto the poles properly. on day 6 one of the side panels pulls came apart. These are all sewing nd manufacturing related issues. Overall, the tent it great but I was disappointed in the number of quality related issues in such a short periof of time. We are camping with 500 others and it was the only Gazelle. We had a lot of looks and answered many questions.

Setting this thing up almost feels like cheating! High quality, no brainer set up and great price. Only downside is it is rather long and heavy, but who cares when it’s car camping.

Had my T4 for a few years now and several trips. Been in some pretty severe rain with ZERO leaks. This tent is awesome when you’re an individual parent setting up with young kids as you can get it set up quickly and move on to more important stuff. Recently bought a T3XOL and will be buying a T4POL when they come back out too. Huge fan.

I had the misfortune of experiencing a nightmarish camping trip in Connecticut with a brand new Gazelle tent this weekend. As the sun began to set, I noticed bugs hitting the side of the tent. While I wasn't too worried as long as they stayed outside, I failed to notice a small hole at the top of the tent. Beetles were able to crawl up the tent, beneath the rain tarp, and drop into the tent through the hole intended for the pull rope. By the time I realized what was happening, my tent was infested with beetles. They were everywhere, including our blankets, pillows, and the floor. It was a nightmare. I had to sweep them off the floor and empty the tent. When I contacted the company, they said that this was an unprecedented incident and there was nothing they could do.

Tent arrived 3 days after I ordered it. Setup was easy first time. Went camping with wind gusts of 40 mph. Tent handled it with no problems. Tent quality seems good: no pinholes, no stitching issues and zippers worked great. The rain fly is slightly misaligned but not big deal. The only disappointment was that the tent went on sale a couple of days after I received mine(at a significant discount)!

I have had my eye on the Gazelle T4 tent for a few years now, but was weary due to some negative reviews I had come across and the long length. However, I was looking for an upgrade this season and decided to take the chance. I rate the tent a 10/10. It is so easy to set up solo and to take down and get back in the bag. I don't find it too heavy to handle. I am able to load it back into my vehicle, no problem. It is totally worth dealing with the extra long length of the tent for the convenience of set up and take down. Plus you can stand up in it! I did use it in high winds (up to 30 mph gusts in Death Valley) for a couple of nights. One night it held up fine with the guy lines secured. The other night was more windy and it was not relaxing to be inside the tent plus it was cold so I stayed in my vehicle until the wind died down. The tent sides did not collapse even with the strong wind gusts so it would have been okay to be inside if I had needed to be.

We went on our first camping trip with our Gazelle T4 hub and had an awesome experience! We were set up in 30 minutes. You would have thought we set it up a hundred times but it was our first. My husband set it up by himself! Had a wonderful time!

We bought for a short camping trip in a hot climate . The bugs stayed out and it stayed tolerable in the heat . I could not find a designated outlet hole in the tent but assume the tub floor Velcro could lift up for that . The setup and take down is extremely easy . I am a female and did it all by myself in less than 5 minutes .

Couldn't wait to do the first setup, but it was rainy and muddy outside. So we decided to do it in the house. Set up is as easy as advertised!!! Best easy set up tent I have ever owned by far!!! Can't wait to actually use this tent.

The reviews on this tent convinced me to investigate tent camping again and I wasn't disappointed. Set up time dropped from 20+ minutes to 5. Teardown was equally easy and no struggling to fit it back into the stuff bag. Used it once so far and planning another trip soon. Fit a 25" wide and 28" military style cot - barely. I will probably replace with pads or cots without the long spreader bars. Doors will take some getting used to because they were a little smaller. The last trip got down to the low 40's but we stayed comfortable and had no condensation. Fabric is much sturdier than previous tents. Stakes worked ok and are good for loose / sandy soil. They did not work well in rocky soil. Plenty of large storage pockets. Very impressed so far.

My goal was to find a comfortable cabin-style tent for solo tent camping but also something small enough to share a state park campsite with a travel trailer when camping with family. I looked at dozens of 4-person tents, watched video reviews etc. before I settled on this one. The only major downside is that it's quite bulky packed up, about 5 ft long and much heavier than your average tent. You're not going to be able to pack this into a tote, and I would recommend measuring your trunk space if that's how you plan to travel with it. The first thing I noticed after setting it up was how spacious it is. This is easily the biggest 4-person tent I've ever been in. You could actually have 4 adult-sized people sleep in it! My 6' 1" son can stand up in the middle and there's more than enough ceiling clearance for me at 5' 6". There are lots of storage pockets, but due to the hub design not a lot of places to hang things. The stakes would probably be fine for state park camping where you have soft ground and wind protection from trees, but I always replace my tent stakes with the heavy-duty ones anyway. Obviously the main attraction is how quickly this tent sets up and takes down, and it delivers 100%. It looks like a massive folded up umbrella when you pull it out of the bag and it seems impossible that it's really as easy as popping the hubs out...but it really is that easy. No poles to separate and assemble, no feeding them through nylon sleeves only to realize that you've put the side pole through the roof sleeve. The payoff to the weight is that this tent is really sturdy. It was pretty windy the first time I set it up and the walls barely shivered. It provides great shelter but you still have a window or a door on every wall so you can monitor your surroundings and control the airflow. Packing it up requires a little more wrestling with it, but I've done it about five times now and it's zipped into the bag every single time. And this is a small thing, but I love the inclusion of velcro straps to tie up the tent and the bag. Smart design! I also want to add that I had an issue with my fly and customer support responded promptly and resolved the issue completely. I'm so used to customer service being a hellscape, I will definitely be buying more Gazelle products. Overall I'm really pleased with the tent and can't wait to give it a real workout this year.

Bought this tent for a trip at Thanksgiving to Fort Parker Texas State Park and it made for an easy camp set up. We were able to get the tent up in about five minutes with everything inside; cots, sleeping bags and all. Little wind and a brief shower and the tent kept us dry and out of the weather. Only draw back was the tent stakes were not as strong as I expected. Will buy the heavy duty tent stakes once they become available from Gazelle again.

Love how easily it goes and down. Only used it once so far but it’s a lot better putting up and taking it down. Very spacious inside! Only thing that I really wish was the entrance doors were a little larger. Plenty of ventilation for camping in the warmer months and it helped heat well using a diesel heater. Great tent!!!
