Fixed prongs... wont work for all outlet set ups

I think that this would be a good product BUT the prongs for the outlet are fixed. I wanted to use it on an outlet that is on the right side ( sideways) and I could not due to the prongs being fixed for the other outlet. It may not seem like a big deal BUT my other outlet is attached to the light switch for a nightstand lamp so it won’t work!
