The large spike ensures that it will stay in the ground and not plop over. It comes with easy directions to ensure my lights are on when I want them. It will make my holiday displays easier to manage when I need more than one outlet. The cord isn’t long so one needs an additional outdoor extension cord if you’re placing it 1 foot or more away from an outlet.

I’ve got a lot of them around my house. I love using them for Christmas lights, outdoor lights on my deck, I have lights let up outside by my livestock. Its a great product

Right now, we are using it for globe string lights on our patio that otherwise wouldn’t have had the outlet access to do this. I also see this being very useful for holiday decorations when that time comes! I would definitely buy more of these, and it seems very sturdy and able to hold up to the elements.
