GE Refresh HD Daylight 3-Way A21 Light Bulb

This is the first to me 50-100-150 watt (equivanlant) LED bulb that matches the old incandesent style for brighness and even steps between the levels. The color temperature is quite cool, so it's more for work rooms or reading than warm living room lighting. The bulb is on the big side, so it was a tight squeeze for out lamp.

I bought these (I bought 3) for my husband...he has an aversion to yellowy lights. These are very, very white bulbs (not my favorite, but I’m flexible). All 3 of my bulbs turn on in an odd order - medium..bright...low. It’s a little strange at first and has taken some getting used to.

I love the three way capability to have different strengths at different times. It’s also LED which helps in energy conservation and lasts longer than average bulbs. It's more of a "white" looking light than the other bulbs I was using always gave the room a "yellow" light hue. The only thing with this bulb that I have noticed is really different from others I've used is that when I turn the light to the 2nd or 3rd way, it takes the bulb a minute to adjust up to the next wattage so I can't turn it up as quick as I could my old ones I was using. But overall I like it. It's much heavier also than the other ones which instantly made me think the quality was better. Hopefully it lasts much longer in the long run than the old ones I was using. So far so good!

I usually purchase regular bulbs, not LED and they don’t light brightly or last very long. So far these bulbs produce beautiful bright light. I am all to confident that due to the GE reputation and that these are LED, I will have full use of all three brightness and not just one.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this bulb hoping it would work well in my living room standing lamp and it’s a great bulb but it gives off a very bright white light. It would be Idea for an overhead light but not in a lamp as the color is too dramatic and not soft. I moved it to an overhead light fixture in my bathroom and it’s perfect!

It produces a natural light feel without any artificial glare. I like that it's a 3 way bulb and it's a smooth transition from 50w to 150w. It's also an Energy saver bulb with a long user time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used this bulb to replace one we had in our small bathroom. The difference is great! The tone of the light is just right. The last one we had was kind of a dimmer yellow. This one is not overly bright (I dont like it when it gives off a fake white light look). But the brightness is just the right illumination with a very natural tone to it. Clear and clean, without the fake fluorescent tone. Definitely recommend.

This works great as a reading light or to do crafts by. The light comes on instantly and doesn't get hot. I am very happy with the performance of this bulb.

It's great for reading and lighting up the room when needed. Interestingly, the bulb we have goes from 100 to150 to 50watt. We are adjusting.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I use this bulb in a nightstand lamp, so it's kind of nice to go right to the 2nd increment (100/150/50) & do what you need to do, then turn it off without getting blinded right before going dark. The daylight spectrum of light with this lamp is pretty bright. This bulb has a 10 year warranty and no fragile filament to break. It should pay for itself quite quickly.

Saves a lot of energy which saves money on the electric bill but it will also last so much longer than other types of bulbs. It is super bright on the highest setting and gives off a perfect daylight ambiance. Very highly recommend!

When needed we get the bright light that the 150W provides and in the same bulb we can achieve more subdued lighting as needed. It’s clear, bright light and fits my needs perfectly.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the 3 way light bulbs for living room lamp. The LED bulbs are so much brighter than other types. Reading is much easier & room lights up bright from just a single lamp. The bulb is slightly larger than standard bulb.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this for my mother-in-law who is having difficulty seeing in medium light. I figured it would help her to see. We used it for about a week and it was wonderful! I swear it looked like we could almost guide ships in fog it was so bright! But then, the 150 watt setting stopped working. The lamp is rated for the bulb, so I'm not quite sure what happened, but she's still happy with the medium setting, though not as bright.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My GE - Refresh Daylight Hd 50-100-150watt Equivalent 3way LED does it's job lights up the room that is. I like that it has a daylight glow and doesn't give off an artificial light glare. It is in my touch lamp and works great with the three levels. There is a noticeable difference in the light levels for each of the levels. Easy to work it plugs into any trstuonal socket and you are done your light is installed and ready to go.
