GEMS Novelty Floating Speaker

This cute floating flamingo Bluetooth speaker is giving me summer vibes! The flamingo float is quick and easy to blow up, and the speaker quality is good. My 5 year old has loved using it to listen to podcasts in the bathtub while we wait on that summer weather. We can’t wait to use it in the pool all summer long!

I got this to replace a floating cruise ship speaker we bought for an outlandish price on a vacation that broke after 1 use. We wanted a quick and less expensive floating speaker alternative because there is nothing more fun than being at the beach in the ocean on a raft while your playlist floats next to you! Unfortunately, as you can imagine these are NOT water proof! No matter how much I spend I have yet to find a water proof, instead they are water resistant. So, we find this little gem which was inexpensive and quality of sound and battery life was just as good for a fraction of the price. I absolutely love the idea of the floating unicorn being inflatable which makes it much more travel friendly and light weight! It is about that size of those inflatable floating beverage containers you see being sold in the pool aisle every spring and summer. That being said, my only issue so far is an annoying one for me. I’m a mom that has inflated many a balloon, floaties, rafts, etc. For some reason this unicorn floatie is ridiculously hard to inflate by mouth. As you can tell from my photo I couldn’t get it fully inflated. It’s not even that big! So I’m not sure why it was so difficult. I would definitely suggest having a small air pump in your bag to inflate this little unicorn up!

This is so adorable. I will have a hard time keeping it from my toddler. We shall see if it will hold up this summer. The speaker is a nice size and fits right into the float snug. Honestly would not put this in a rowdy pool though. Does not seem very stable. Float material is very thin. So can’t say it will do well in heat that thin.

I absolutely love this Floating Speaker! It’s adorable and hilarious, making it a fun addition to any pool day. Kids love it, and it adds a cheerful vibe to the water. This is adorable. It would look really cute floating around. It is very easy to inflate the palm tree. The speaker is pretty big and has pretty good sound. I think if you wanted to switch out the speaker, you could put a small toy or small beverage in there!

My daughter loves this little floating speaker. It's a cute little unicorn that holds the round speaker in the middle. It floats well and the speaker is pretty good but I had to keep my phone close by. We haven't used it in the pool yet but have used it in the hot tub and it seemed to hold up well. It blows up super easily but the face of the unicorn seems a little misshapen. There is a hole in the center at the bottom of where the speaker goes so water does get in there. Not sure how long the speaker will last if water gets in there. It charged really quickly too and seemed to hold a charge for a few hrs.

Will be a good speaker for when the kids are swimming and want to listen to music. Speaker has decent sound. Nothing amazing but doesn’t sound horrible either. The floaty is cute but will be interesting how it does once the kids are playing and the water is a little rougher 🙃

Floatable Unicorn Speaker. The sound is better than I thought it would be. It paired with my phone right away without any issues. My only concern is that it says the speaker can get splashed but not submerged. I worry about it getting tipped over in the pool.

Super cute! Floats well even when I churned the water to see if it would sink in the movement. The speaker is surprisingly good and connected Bluetooth to my phone with no issues. It is small, and inflated with one breath. A fun pool novelty.

This is a fun novelty pool floating speaker but lacks the punch from other quality small speakers. The speaker is loud but lacks any bass resulting in very tinny sound. The sound is also clear but start to distort at higher volumes. While this will add some fun and background sound to summer days at the pool, it won’t be the star of a real music focused pool party.

The waterproof palm tree floating speaker is cute, but not well made. The speaker doesn't hold a charge for very long and the sound isn't great. It's unfortunate, because it's cute and a fun idea. You could have multiple speakers floating in the pool if you had guests.

This is a nice fun summer waterproof bluetooth speaker that floats or just place on a patio table. It starts with a mini palm tree and round tube that the speaker sits into. In a few breaths (I was surprised how easy it is to blow up, easier than a balloon) you inflate the tube/tree. Plug in using the included C cable to USB and charge the speaker. The connection has a protective water proof cover to insert the C cable into. Both fun and sound in the same package!
