[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We used are GE surge in a new room. The built in usb charger was a great upgrade versus using another regular plug. The surge only takes one of the existing outlets to opposed of both. Saves an additional outlet. Overall I was happy with the surge plug and could definitely use more in my home.

Only one of the charging ports work… luckily the ports that do work work great, but it’s pointless to use because I already have two outlets in the wall. Wish it worked better because it’d be a great product if it did.

It offers three 3 prong outlets as well as one usb and one usbc. I love the addition of these two so that you can plug the cord straight in. Overall very useful product and handy to have.

I can put 5 different devices in this! And it’s square and not bulkly like the others. It performs well and is a surge protector so I know my devices are safe.

I guess they just needed a lamp in the 50’s and they were all set. This is a great way to expand my limited outlets. It only takes up 1 outlet and it’s spaced so I can plug in chunky adapter plugs without covering an outlet. I hate when I get a multi-outlet tap and one spot ends up unusable anyway because the outlets are too close. I like that this one also has both classic USB-A and the new standard USB-C ports so I can directly plug in 2 more items. It also has surge protection, which is reassuring. It’s really well-designed outlet extender.
