Q: I was just wondering if this would be okay for my attached fan. It has a section for a normal globe, but as it is a fan, it has a remote to turn the light and fan on and off. Would I be able to use both remotes or would I not be able to change the colour?

I love how fun this lightbulb is and how easy it is to use with the remote! However, if I press several buttons fast enough, it turns on Netflix on my Vizio Smartcast for my TV. Even if my TV is off, it will turn on Netflix on my Smartcast.

However, I saw the GE LED Color (800 Lumens 9.5W, 120V 60Hz and got Super excited to try it. I got home thinking it hooked up to the same "Cync by GE" Application. After 3 days I figured it out after using Google. My issue is there was NO REMOTE IN MY BOX AT ALL. So essentially the Bulb is useless. Wal-Mart will not take it back and they will not get me another remote control. So saddened and disappointed at the same time. There's no clear cut way on HOW to get remote. either. GE, could you HELP ME PLEASE??????

I ordered one, loved it. So ordered another. Second came witg a much older looking remote, and now my first one flickers. The second one operates fine. Weird. Love them but not sure I'd go out replacing all my bulbs with these due to inconsistencies
