These are nice looking and decent quality for the price but the description should be changed to include only the term "semi-sheer" and not include "room-darkening", as they offer very little light filtration. The image/rendering shown is misleading as well, you can definitely see through them.

I wanted a covering for the window in my home office as the sun in the afternoon shines right in my eyes. These are perfect light filtering curtains. They let enough light in so I don't need to turn on the electric lights, but keep the sun from shining directly in my eyes. I shortened them which was super easy as the geometric design gave me a guide for the hem. I used a shower curtain tension rod which fit the grommets easily. The material and workmanship are of good quality. I would recommend these curtains to anyone who wants light but not direct light in the area.

These are beautiful curtains. No, they arent blackout (they should probably change the listing on that if they havent already), but they ARE decently heavy and absolutely gorgeous. I love the shiny jacquard fabric. Just lovely. I have two sets now. They are perfect.
