Gettysburg/Gods and Generals (DVD)

The only criticism I have is with the Gettysburg DVD set. Both Gods and Generals and Gettysburg are long films, spread over 2 discs each. That is understandable, but where Gods and Generals has clear markings as to which is Disc 1 and which is Disc 2, both Gettysburg discs are identical. There is no way to tell which is which. This may be a minor annoyance, but it is so easily remedied I have to wonder why they didn't do it. The Special Features are great for both films and the commentaries are very enlightening. Any student of the Civil War will enjoy these films--even with their flaws they are quite historically accurate. Great pains were taken by the filmmakers to ensure this. By all means, if you are considering purchase, enjoy them--just have a Sharpie on hand to mark your Gettysburg discs!
