The chocolate caramel really complimented & elevated the flavor for me. It's Ghirardelli so of course the chocolate is rich, slightly bitter, and creamy, but the combination of dark chocolate and buttery sweet taste of the caramel center is so nice! It pairs so well together just like a real lava cake. You can tell Ghirardelli takes pride in their treats because everything is good even down to the packaging. Superior!!! Don't stick them in the microwave unless you want to eat the whole bag in one sitting.

The chocolate is not bitter at all, it is very creamy and has the best taste ever. I love the packaging so i can take it on the go for a quck pick up snack! Not only does it look amazing it taste just as good! I will definitely be buying this on my next grocery trip tomorrow!

I'm not sure what tastes better: the smooth chocolate outside or the chocolate caramel on the inside. There is a perfect proportion of chocolate to caramel. The creamy yet bold flavor is new to me and I admit I was surprised I liked it more than I anticipated.
