Q: How do you turn on the lights?
A: For whatever reason I’m able to get the lights to turn on without lighting it. I click the lighter directly above the candle without lighting the candle wick and the lights turn on. They don’t stay on long. I’m not a scientist but maybe some type of heat is what turns it on. Cool science experiment if anyone is interested.

LED feature of this Citronella Hibiscus Al Fresco Scented Candle turns on when the wick of the interior candle is lit and turns off when candle flame is extinguished. LED will not light up if the candle is not burning. I hope this helps. - Zara
