It seems like it will hold up well to their playing. However, as a parent I wish the battery for the lights was a normal size, as I can see having to replace it a lot which all the kids use.

It comes with lights that really work and this cute trunk that you fill with the ornaments. My daughter is 4 and she needed a bit of help to get it all set up, but she loves it and has been decorating it over and over again.
