Q: How many days should you take the higher dose, not the maintenance dose, for an effective cleanse? Do you need to take probiotics afterwards or during? Thank you.

A: Hello JL, Thank you for your question. We recommend only taking a higher dose until you reach between 3 - 5 bowel movements in a day. After, we recommend going back down to the recommended 4 capsules. We highly recommend taking probiotics to replenish your gut flora of good probiotics that may be released during a cleanse. The 1st time I used it was not a good experience, I unfortunately didnt make it to the restroom in time. Now that I know how & when to take them, it is A LOT better! Im using it for a pre-cleaning before my colonoscopy because the colon prep is a bit of a shock to your system so I start to get things moving 1st with this since I normally poop like a rabbit. Generally it's 4 the 1st time and then I move it to 6 the next night and then 2 the following night. It works great. Once cleaned out, then I take 1-2, 2x wk. It does help train you colon!

Have to take so many pills
I had to take 8 pills for it to work. I took 4 nothing, then 6 and it kinda work so I took 6 the following week and nothing. Taking 8 worked only 2 times. For the price and having to take so many pills I don’t think it’s worth it.

Great product, especially if you are doing colon hydrotherap
I love this product for clearing out my colon when I do liver cleanses. I have also used it when I am getting colon hydrotherapy treatments (colonics), and it is amazing to help loosen everything up, making the colonic a lot more pleasant and easy. I'm overall really impressed with all of Global Healing's products.
