TLDR; Do Not Use on Sensitive Skin - Burning, Itching, & May Need Another Shower
I bought this lotion two days ago, was super excited to use, I've been looking for a new lotion to try and have had a lot of good experience with Goldbond in the past. I've used the eczema and diabetic variations for the last six months and the night time kind as well, so I had high hopes. Instead, I had a severe reaction that caused my skin to turn so red and burn incredibly bad for over 24 hours. In the midst of burning, it began to itch and spread over every area applied. There is no warning label that states any type of reaction like this would occur, it was scary to not understand why this is happening, but I saw a review from a few days ago that the same thing occurred. Please use this product with caution if you have sensitive skin. Vitamin C should not cause your skin to eat away at itself, which is what it felt like in my opinion.

Unexpected allergic reaction — use with caution if you have sensitive skin
About 10 minutes after applying this lotion, my arms became red and itchy, so I immediately washed it off. The next day, I woke up with what looked like allergic contact dermatitis on my arms and chest — bright red, bumpy, and extremely itchy skin. It has now been a week since the first application, and the rash still hasn’t fully gone away. I’ve had to use medicated creams to calm the reaction. I wouldn’t recommend this product for anyone with sensitive skin or fragrance allergies. I’ve never had this type of reaction to any lotion before, so I was surprised. This may work well for others, but it didn’t agree with my skin.

Contains fragrance, so unnecessary and can be highly irritating to the skin. Also, you can’t find the percentage of vitamin c in this product, which is a red flag. I view this as a glorified moisturizer-use their retinol version instead, as least it’s fragrance free.

I never thought 80 yrs old could feel and look so good. I’ve been using Gold Bond products for years but this product is excellent PLUS! It definitely has smoothed out lines on my face and makes me smile a lot more because I feel so good about what it has done for my skin!!

Worse experience ever
I keep receving email about delayed for 3 days in a roll, I called to cancel but they told me they cannot do it. I will leave the country and I am not able to recevie the package. It's ridiculous that they cannot cancel it but telling me they are preparing the order for 5 days!

Need bigger size!!
I LOVE this lotion. I wish it came in a much bigger size because I put it on my entire body every morning. I love the way it makes my skin feel and it smells pretty nice too. I live in a very hot humid area (GA) and it never feels heavy or greasy after I put it on.

I was looking for citrus-y smelling body lotion. Gold Bond Body Bright does smell great (mandarin orange). The texture is thick like a body butter. I was very surprised that you can use this on your body and face! I like this & will definitely buy again.

Really 4.5 stars. Dark spots Truly do fade! Scent is terrific. The only issues - the moisturizing aspect doesn’t last long. It is also a bit thick so doesn’t spread as well as I’d like. Considering the great job it does fading dark spots, I’m willing to overlook that. Please note: It seemed like my dark spots Might’ve gotten a bit more prominent at first before fading considerably with continued use. I wish I’d taken before and afters but even my dermatologist noticed the improvement and asked what I was using, believing it would have been some expensive product. She was surprised when I told her it was Gold Bond Body Bright

Maybe not for Sensitive Skin
Used it the first couple of days and noticed how smooth my skin was. By the end of the week I broke out. Quick using for a month or so and when I restarted the same thing happened again. Maybe the ingredients is too potent for my skin so I’ll probably just limit it a couple days a week. Kind of bummed because I probably won’t get the full brightening effect. The scent is very subtle.

Does as it says. Brightening and moisturizing. Thick creamy consistency that with warmth spreads easily. Took the dye off my patio tablecloth within 2 days, so do with that piece of info as you will.
