A: Goo Gone Spray Gel will work to remove sticky, gummy, gooey messes, this product is not food safe so we do recommend washing the item well with a mild dish detergent and warm water after use.

A: We would not recommend using this on an iron. I would contact the manufacturer of the iron for cleaning instructions.
submitted byWeiman Brands - 6 years agoBrand expertA: I wouldn't try to clean a hot iron. Allow it to cool, then see if the Goo Gone will remove the spot. If the spot isn't sticky when cool, try applying ice to the spot and carefully scrape it off.

A: No, this product will not remove heavy grease form the bottom of a fry pan. You can use Goo Gone Kitchen Degreaser to remove the grease on your fry pan. You will need to test it first in an inconspicuous area https://googone.com/kitchen-degreaser .

A: I don't think it will harm the laminate floor. However, I would find an inconspicuous spot, and try some of the Goo Gone there before I used it on a more conspicuous spot. I hope this helps.

Sticky be gone
Does a pretty good job of helping to remove stickiness from various substances. The spray function is nice. I’ve used mostly on removing stickers from surfaces that they shouldn’t be on after my kids have put them there. Very strong citrus smell. If you get any on your skin, the smell sticks around for hours even after scrubbing with soap and water.

This is a miracle worker. I had a spot on my vinyl floor that I couldn't budge. The spot had a sticky substance that hadn't been cleaned up when it happened so it more or less hardened. I sprayed some Good Gone on the spot and let it sit for about 10 minutes. It loosened it enough that with a bit of gentle scraping with a metal tool it removed the entire spot. I had used this product in the past with good results on tape residue and this time it didn't disappoint.

It was a life saver
It was so convenient and it works. I was removing car stickers for a car appraised appointment 1 hour before and I started using it and it removed the adhesive perfectly I still need to remove some of the adhesive on the newly placed sticker. Smells good too

Amazing product
My silly self decided to hang photos up in my rental apartment with gorilla tape (like duck tape but alot stronger). When I was taking the photos down to move I realized that there was tape residue all over my wall. With my security deposit at risk, I needed to do something and do something quick. I got this stuff, sprayed it on the first tape residue square and relized that I had liquid gold in my hands. It was a simple job, over in about 20 mins. This stuff got up all of the goo with a wipe of a paper towel. The only thing is that it does leave an oily residue after but nothing a little soap and water didnt fix. I do not think ive ever left a review for anything, but man this stuff is crazy good at its job so I had to weigh into the convo. Would recomend to everyone.

The goo gone that doesn't work
This does not work even 50% as well as the original goo gone. While I like the concept of having the formula in a spray bottle- this is not the original formula. I would be embarrassed to put my name on a product that worked like this. With the amount of elbow grease & time you have to put into this to make it work- you might as well not even use this product. Please stop making this, & target please sell the original product that actually works. Don’t waste your money on this goo gone lite.

Goo Be Gone From My House
This product was recommended and I tried 4 to 5 applications and it did nothing. It did not take off an old sticker on a dresser drawer. So I looked up online for adhesive/sticker removal hacks. I found the following, and at a much less expensive price, spray some hand sanitizer in the area and use an old toothbrush. Took it right off in less than a minute and no damage to the paint. Waste of money on this product and I don’t recommend.
