A: It is not lactose=free. The lactose=free variety is not shown on the Target website, but it IS shown on Shoprite's website, if you would like to see what the label looks like. or buy it there.

I loved the 3g version with pineapple and other fruit flavors. They’ve discontinued those so I’m done. The plain is way too salty. It does have a nice texture but some cartons are very runny. It’s not consistent. Bring back the 3g line!

It says 2% milkfat, but it contains skim milk, whole milk, and cream. I can only tolerate no-fat/low-fat dairy, which is why I was so excited to try this cottage cheese that everyone seems to be raving about. It's delicious, but it raises my blood sugar and makes me terribly, terribly depressed—all because of the whole milk and cream.

So I figured I’d give this a try worst cottage cheese I’ve ever had in my life. The smell is unbelievable. I tried to doctor it up with salt and pepper and everything bagel seasoning. I could still taste that terrible smell taste . I don’t know what is in that, but it’s terrible. The smell I can’t even explain to you the taste is like barf.

We are big fans of cottage cheese in this house. I’ve been pleased with this brand with other products so I didn’t see this as a big risk. I was surprised by how much I disliked the cottage cheese. The texture was mealy and generally didn’t have a great flavor. My husband initially said he’d take it to work, but after tasting it he told me to feed it to the dogs. Only one of three dogs ate it.

I decided to try this cottage cheese, since I often see it in other people’s shopping carts at Target. Yeah..No. Just no. I usually buy the Sea Salt variety from A&E, which is smooth, creamy, just the right texture and has great flavor. This cottage cheese is nothinggg like that. Very thick consistency, almost kind of like mud. It does have flavor, but it’s just not right. I can’t quite describe it. Sour maybe? And for a cottage cheese that touts how “clean” the ingredients are, it absolutely gave me a terrible tummy ache. Absolutely would not recommend this :(
