Good Foods Plant Based Spicy Queso Blanco Style Dip - 8oz

This was a no for me, I was excited after reading all the reviews for the nacho cheese one (that's the one I ordered but they were out so this was a substitute). It's not bad, I just had high expectations after reading the reviews, but this doesn't taste like a cheese sauce. It's not smooth, it's grainy so you can tell it's made from veggies. That's great in it's place just not what I wanted (I could've made this at home if I wanted a veggie dip). I wanted a vegan, smooth, creamy cheesy dip and this wasn't it. It also had a sourness to it that I didn't like all that much. I did love the spice in it though. Some people might like this, but it just isn't for me. I've been vegan for years so this isn't an issue with me thinking it was real cheese. I'll have to go back to making my own, wanted a shortcut and thought this could be it.

My friends bought this product and had me taste it. I looked at it and looked pretty good. Who puts almonds and cashews in a queso? Yes, it says it in the ingredients, but I didn't think I needed to check ingredients for a nut allergy for queso. I am allergic to all kinds of nuts and this is the first time I've had queso with nuts in it. They need to put almonds and/or cashews on the front label somehow. If I would have eaten any more of it, I definitely would have gone to the hospital. Very dumb that queso has nuts in it. Makes no sense at all

So happy to have tried the spicy queso blanco dip! I love that it's dairy free, but doesn't lose out on flavor. Would highly recommend for anyone looking for healthier queso alternatives.

This dip is a staple in my kitchen. It does not sacrifice taste for health, I prefer it over regular queso! Highly recommend!

I didn’t feel that this tasted like queso at all. More a very spiced hummus. Sadly, vegan cheese is just not there yet! I do wish they went more subtle with the spices so it could actually have that smooth, monotone creaminess of actual queso. They overdid it. Super zesty. Also pretty spicy!!

So I definitely didn’t buy this realizing it was plant based at first! I just saw the word “queso” and the flawless reviews and added it to my cart. I was hesitant when I realized it wasn’t actually cheese. But it’s really good! Is it queso? No. Does it taste anything like cheese? Absolutely not. It tastes more akin to a bean dip to me. Or maybe hummus? Maybe kind of similar to the skillet queso at chilis if we’re going to say it’s queso. Either way, it’s pretty good. Happy accident.

It’s so healthy but it tastes SOOOO GOOD!! They are getting rid of this at all of the stores in my city and I am SO UPSET! I buy one of these containers a week!!

I've been tempted to eat this by this by the spoonful. We'll use this to compliment anything… 1 pretzel, a taco, bowl, or even a shredded beef sandwich. Crazy good & doesn't leave you feeling heavy.

I love this stuff— have put it in salad dressing, used it as a dip for vegetables and shrimp, etc. Almost spicy enough!

This dip is AMAZING I feel like I can eat it with everything and on everything. It is spicy but it's not too overwhelming at all. Like it's still enjoyable, although I really wish and do hope that they make the same version but a non spicy version. I don't want to eat a spicy dip all the time.
