[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm usually not a big a fan of plant based milk because of how different it tastes from regular milk. However, I was pleasantly surprised by this. The milk had a very creamy, smooth texture which made it easier to drink. I drank a bit on it own and the taste was not overpowering at all. It had a hint of sweetness to it which I think would add good flavour to cereal or coffee without ruining it's own flavours. It tastes different so it might take getting used to- i find it tastes nice when chilled or over ice - i like it best blended with a ripened banana to give some sweetness. It is not hard on the stomach - great for lactose intolerance which I suffer from and grateful it covers me for a lot of the required daily calcium intake which I otherwise struggle to get from food sources I received an incentive to write this review.

This flaxseed milk has a clean, light taste with a subtle flaxseed taste and aftertaste. I don’t mind, I think it’s refreshing, but it may not be for everyone. It’s got a smooth, drinkable texture and doesn’t overpower other flavors in cereal, smoothies, or coffee. I have tried all the other plant milks I know of. It’s still not my favorite but I was able to drink a full glass without being turned off by it. You can use this as a substitute in desserts in your tea or even just to drink like milk. It is a little bit thick and it does fill your stomach up pretty well so you will want to pace yourself, but it is a great substitute, especially because it is plant protein based. I either don’t like the taste of some of the alternatives or can’t stand the texture/ viscosity or they don’t agree with me. I am pleased to say that this flaxseed milk did not possess any of the negative traits that I have experienced with other dairy free alternatives. The viscosity is similar to 2% milk and the taste is mild with a tiny bit of nuttiness. The best trait is that my stomach could tolerate this and a bonus is the protein content! This flax milk has helped me find a substitute that works just as well as creamer. You do have to get used to the taste because it is quite different from milk, but the consistency added to your coffee helps you mask the flavor of this plant based milk. It’s similar to unsweetened soy milk in texture and flavor but definitely more of a flax seed flavor in there! I enjoy it in cereal as the sweetness of the cereal balances out the unsweetened milk favor. It has a nice amount of protein, so no saturated fat, and has plenty of calcium. It was pretty plain on its own, but mixed into a smoothie, it’s difficult to tell it apart from what regular milk tastes like. I would recommend it as a mix in.
