[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GoodCook Garlic Press is very simple to use. With one squeeze to the handle, It finely presses the garlic into fine pieces. I just did not like that the garlic was very fine. I used it on my asparagus to add a garlic flavor, and it was hard to separate to season all my asparagus. I would probably use this more for like pastas. Otherwise, it is easy to use and easy to clean.

I usually just chop or blend garlic when I need it but this garlic press made it easy to make small pieces of garlic. It’s easy to use but a bit difficult to clean. It is made of good durable material and really easy to use! I am now able to mince garlic quite easily.

The press is made of metal! Extra nice is that it is top rack dishwasher safe so easy clean up! Easy to hold and not too heavy!

It's not fancy or flashy in any way, but it does the trick! For home cooks like myself, it's useful to have around if you are looking to elevate your cooking game and are a big fan of incorporating garlic like I am.

Until I was able to get my hands on this & give it a shot! I have used it for lemon wedges also to get lemon juice! Cleaning isn’t bad at all! It is very durable.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Already have one from a different brand and when I got this offer I was excited. This is much lighter and easier on the aging hands. It is easy to clean and was able to do the job. I docked one star as I had to use it multiple times to get my desired garlic consistency.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works well! It’s kind of hard to clean but works better than others I’ve tried. I will probably continue to use this. I believe this is dollar store brand so for the value that’s pretty good.

For one thing, it doesn't press all the way through, so a lot of garlic gets wasted with each use. However, the more annoying thing about this press is that some liquid from the garlic seeps inside the press, as it is not sealed properly. After a thorough cleaning, this liquid slowly leaks back out like tree sap and creates a sticky mess. If you clean it again, it just leaks even more, for hours afterward. I reached out to the company, but they only offered to replace it with the same product or an even worse one. Why would I want another one when I didn't even like the first one?

JUNK. Do not buy. Metal insert bent beyond repair after just two uses.

I've never owned a garlic press, but I know it can't get much worse than this. Look at all the other reviews from 2-5 stars. They are all only from a promotion! Even some of the promoters couldn't lie for this product. I guess the name of the tool isn't false advertising because it does "press" the garlic. But that's it. If you want garlic in your food, buy a different tool because this one can only smush the garlic into a thin stick. Then you have to peel the stick out of the tool and then you still have to chop it up yourself if you want it on your food.

I should have heeded the reviews, but I thought they were just being a touch dramatic. Unfortunately for me, it turns out that they were 100% accurate. I pressed some garlic to try it out and, out of an average-sized clove, I didn’t even get enough to cover my pinky nail. I’d say that even 1/8 of a teaspoon would be an overestimate. Heed this warning: do NOT buy this garlic press unless you prefer your food to taste like disappointment instead of garlic!
