GoodCook Ready Soft Grip Can Opener

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the look of the can opener. My daughter used it to open some canned sauces and vegetables in which it was so much easier to open the can. She was to clean it with no food residue on it. She used water to rinse it off and the residue just came right out and when she washed it with soap, it was clean.

It attached so easily to the can of refried beans I went to open, and was extremely easy to turn (which I appreciated as I have carpal tunnel pretty bad). It did an awesome job of cutting the lid cleanly too. Definitely impressed with this low tech item, call me a fan. This was a win!

I love how easy it is to attach to a can of vegetables, etc and has an easy to turn handle that helps guide the cutting blade to open the can. Simply sound free as well! The can opener is very quiet and also has other functions/part on it as well that help you open the lids once cut open. I would highly recommend this product to others. I also love the red color on the handles. Handles are made of a very sturdy smooth matte finish plastic.

Our electric can opener is falling apart and while we will repurchase an electric one, it’s always a good idea to have an old fashioned as well. For the price, this would be a great and reliable purchase from a dependable brand!

I think it’s slimmer than my older one, easy to use, has a bottle opener like my last one and appears to be durable from what I can tell so far. It definitely gets the job done.

This can opener does not open cans. It just dents the sides and cuts small portions of the cans. Terrible product.

This can opener is exactly what I needed. It works really well!

Horrible. It’s cheap and trash. Worst product on the planet. Won’t open any of my cans. Just damaged the Can and leaves a hot mess.

I like a the easy grip of the handle to better help opening cans!

Not only does it not work well enough to open cans, (it keeps slipping off), the whole thing bent the 3rd time I used it, rendering it useless. It's EXTREMELY POOR QUALITY. Very disappointing.

Title says it all. I've been using it regularly a few months now and it continues to work like new. The opener makes opening cans a breeze, very little grip required, and it's perfect every time, no slipping or shredding paper label or skipping spots.
