This light revolutionized my workspace by reducing my dependence on overhead lighting. I put this up around my desk and files in a space where I often have to be creative, and the vibe change options suit pretty much any mood. I didn't want to use the screws to route the light, but I think they are necessary, especially if you're mounting to metal things like a filing cabinet.

I wouldn't buy the ropes. I bought a bunch of neon lights (over 20 pieces) and right now over 3/4 of the neon ropes only display the color red. Others colors and effects will not display, I have tried all methods to reset them

amazing beautiful neon rope. This rope is very flexible and can be attached to the wall, the clips that come with it are also very easy to attach and the neon rope attaches well. the app is very easy and there are many choices to illuminate the neon rope. All in all, this neon rope 2 is great!! definitely worth the money. 1 downside is the power consumption of govee lighting!

Very cool. I installed it near the ceiling around 3 sides of my pool table to make the room pop. I like the clips but if you’re mounting it to something other than drywall you'll need new screws. The heads of the provided screws stripped instantly and effortlessly with a manual screwdriver. Other than that one small thing, its exceeded my expectations. The app is easy and intuitive, and the rope light is impressive.

** The colors are brilliant and smooth with no spots. ** The app is great! ** While it bends nicely and fairly tightly side to side, bending in any other axis is terrible. In my case, I put it around my porch, including down the sideboard to the stairs. And even just bending 45% to transition from flat to down the stairs it wanted to buckle and fold and get weird. Minus half a point for this. ** It came with white retaining/mounting clips. Why? It's a black rope light. The white clips are distracting and stand out and make no sense. Minus half a point for this. Otherwise, the clips work pretty well and are simple to install/use. ** These do not have white LEDs in them, so don't expect the white to look very good. Given this fact, white is better than most LED strips I have had. It would be neato if true white LEDs could be incorporated!
These are great they look great. There’s a lot of different scenes that you can do with them very easy to install. Just make sure you screw them into the wall. The glue doesn’t really hold that well over a long-term. I don’t think.

Went with a three because I had to return them. I absolutely know they would have been a 5 but the price makes them a 1. Hopefully I can afford them in one or two generations,
