And the fact it comes with earbuds is a plus. This would be perfect for an emergency kit or just an inexpensive alternative for portable entertainment. I recommend this radio. I might even get a second one.

He needed a radio that was portable, easy to use, am/fm, had good sound and an ear port so my mom wouldn't hear it. This had all this, as well as super affordable. I actually went back and bought a second one for my house.

This is the first time I have bought a radio of this size since I was a kid in the 1960s. In comparison to what I remember, this model is smaller and has more reliable reception & audio than the radios of the past of this type, especially one with both AM and FM. Small tuning knob makes it hard to tune in weaker stations.
Fantastic little radio to take when I walk my dog.
