It has a telescoping antenna and analog volume control. The portable radio does have a built-in speaker but, for private listening, use the included pair of wired, 3.5-mm stereo earbud headphones. It operates on 2 AAA batteries, which are not included.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is reminiscient of the old pocket transistor radios from the late 20th century. It's small and light and works great. And the fact it comes with earbuds is a plus. This would be perfect for an emergency kit or just an inexpensive alternative for portable entertainment. I recommend this radio. I might even get a second one.
