Q: Is it longer playtime if you just keep it plugged in with the power cord? Also, can you just charge this with the power cord and then it will play without having it plugged into anything?

This one’s awesome only runs on 3C batteries and the charger for a wall plug is included. What’s really nice is that the charger fits in the back compartment where the batteries are so everything is very stored neatly

So did the person that received it as a gift. They both are very pleased with it. It's a nice size, the sound is amazing for such a portable radio and the tunning is very easy.
