Graco 4Ever DLX 4-in-1 Convertible Car Seat

This seat is very roomy, but still fits behind the drivers seat (even rear facing) of our VW Passat. The seat belts are easy to tighten (and issue we struggled with on our bucket seat). Our son is small for his age at 1 year old and I still did not struggle to get a snug fit. My only issue is that installation was challenging to get it both level and tight with the lower anchors. I sort if regret not getting 2 of the Joie Chili spin, as that is the seat in our other car and I love it.

Love graco careers. This is #4 for convertible car seats in the 4ever series. Only thing about this one is the fabric is an interesting texture otherwise it's great.

This model was one atop various lists for safety testing results. Oh boy am I so glad we bought this car seat. My one year old was just involved in a car accident where another driver t-boned the side of the car she was sitting on. She came out of the incident unscathed and I know it’s because of this car seat. Even before this, she had enjoyed the seat’s ample room (even at 98% height), cup holders, and quality fabrics that are fairly easy to clean. I just purchased another one to replace the one involved in the accident. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.

We liked it but did make the mistake of not making sure it’s an extended rear facing seat.

When I first bought these car seats I loved them, but after about 2 years of use they have started to fall apart. After multiple washes and just putting the kids in and out of the car the velcro on the seat pad began to rip off. You can get replacement seat covers, but you have to pay for them and it is not guaranteed to match the color you have or even be in stock. I had both the Fairmount and Zagg style. I would recommend purchasing a different seat that does not have any velcro on it.

Daughter absolutely hated infant car seat screamed all car rides. Switched to convertible car seat and now car rides are actually enjoyable.

I have 2 boys under 2 and use this car seat for both of them and it’s amazing! It’s high quality, comfortable, easy to clean, and has got to be the easier installation ever!! I cannot recommend this car seat enough, if you are thinking about buying it just go ahead!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this car seat for my nieces/nephews as I often have one with me. Since there is a little bit of an age gap between them, I was looking for something easy and versatile to share between them. This car seat has been perfect. Easy to set up/install and nice and quick to add or remove inserts and adjust the headrest. The whole thing comes apart very easily to wash and has a convenient little pocket under the seat to store the manuals/extra strap. Switching the seat around is no difficult task either as all the paths are clearly marked and easy to access. The extra reclining positions let you find the right angle no matter what. And this seat being a 4-in-1 will age with the child saving the expense of replacing the seat at every stage. Oh, and the cup holders are angled where they don’t spill, but the child can reach their items while still strapped in tight. There is also a convenient place to store the buckles which makes getting the child in and out a breeze. The only thing I wish was different is just cosmetic. I bought the geo pop design and I would have loved to see the pattern on more than just the inserts. Since you remove the inserts as the child grows, 99% of the design disappears leaving you with just the navy blue; save for on the shoulder straps. All in all, it is a wonderful car seat and has held up thus far showing no signs of wear. It’s good enough that I have just purchased a second seat as I’ve had to turn the seat around for my older niece and don’t want to have to flip it back and forth depending on the child to preserve both the seat, and my physical car seat…as well as my time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This car seat is really nice especially for the price! It is kind of a pain to install and get it tight but it is doable. I will say it is big we had a Ford Bronco Sport and it did not fit well in that car and I could never get it tight enough. We did get a 25 Chevy traverse and it is much easier to install and I can get it tight! So if you have a smaller car this probably is not going to work well for you but if you have a larger SUV it works great! My kid also likes a lot more than his infant seat. Since it sets higher he can now see out of the window so car rides are much more enjoyable now.

So far so good. What’s not to love about this car seat! Love that it has all the safety features and protection making me feel secure while my son is in the car. Love that it will grow with him.
