Description
The Graco® Extend2Fit® 3-in-1 Car Seat features a 4-position extension panel that provides up to 5” of extra rear-facing legroom, allowing your child to ride safely rear-facing longer. Children are safer riding rear-facing and should ride rear-facing as long as possible, until they reach the maximum rear-facing height or weight rating for their car seat. With Extend2Fit®, the adjustable extension panel and 50 lb rear-facing weight limit allow the seat to grow with your child in rear-facing mode, providing extended rear-facing use. This seat offers 3 modes of use to grow with your child from rear-facing harness (4-50 lb) to forward-facing harness (22-65 lb) to highback booster (40-100 lb). The seat features the No-Rethread Simply Safe Adjust™ Harness System, which allows you to adjust the height of the headrest and harness in one motion, and InRight™ LATCH for a one-second LATCH attachment. Harnessing is made easier with fuss-free harness storage pockets that conveniently hold the harness out of the way while you get baby in and out of the car seat.

Q: Above says the rear facing max height is 49 inches - same as the forward facing max height. Usually they are not the same - kids usually have to be switched due to height. Is 49 in accurate??

A: Thanks for your interest in our Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat! This model does have a height limit for rear and forward facing of 49inches. But it's more about the weight limit for when the child would transition from rear to forward to high-back booster mode. Rear facing weight limit is 4-50 lb. 4-26.5lb must be rear-facing and 26.5-50lb should be rear-facing. For forward-facing the weight limit is 26.5-65lb. 26.5-50lb can be forward-facing and 50-65lb should be forward-facing. For the booster mode a child would need to be 43-57 inches tall at least for years old. 40-65lb can be in booster mode and over 65lb the child must be in the booster mode. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I chose this car seat in order to fit two in a compact hatchback (2023 Hyundai Kona Electric, technically an SUV but not really). It’s not the easiest seat to install or the most comfortable but it gets the jobs done for a reasonable price.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I would give it 5 stars if it turned 360 degrees to make it easier to get my kiddo in, but overall I love the car seat and so does my daughter ! We got the pink one, love that it had a pink option to select (it matches my cars interior) and I went through literally 4 car seats because I couldn’t find one that was easy to install, and fit in my car right that didn’t have my kids head hanging forward when she fell asleep in the car. I even went to the police station for help installing and still wasn’t confident in the prior car seats I tried. The graco extend to fit is everything a parent could hope for in a non rotatable car seat . It has the side impact protection, adjustable base recline with a level indicator letting you know it’s in correctly, nice comfy padding , doesn’t have babies head falling forward when they fall asleep, and is easy to install, it took me 10 minutes and I didn’t need help from any man to get it tight enough. This is the only car seat that I am confident my kiddo will be safe in, and the only one I would recommend to other parents looking for a car seat.

Even with my 99 percentile in height boys, this car seat keeps them rear facing longer and keeps them safer. The ability to convert to the booster seat also helps us not need to buy multiple seats. This car seat seems super comfy, all while providing top level safety. Definitely would highly recommend!
