Q: Above says the rear facing max height is 49 inches - same as the forward facing max height. Usually they are not the same - kids usually have to be switched due to height. Is 49 in accurate??
A: Thanks for your interest in our Extend2Fit 3-in-1 Convertible Car Seat! This model does have a height limit for rear and forward facing of 49inches. But it's more about the weight limit for when the child would transition from rear to forward to high-back booster mode. Rear facing weight limit is 4-50 lb. 4-26.5lb must be rear-facing and 26.5-50lb should be rear-facing. For forward-facing the weight limit is 26.5-65lb. 26.5-50lb can be forward-facing and 50-65lb should be forward-facing. For the booster mode a child would need to be 43-57 inches tall at least for years old. 40-65lb can be in booster mode and over 65lb the child must be in the booster mode.
