A: There is no separate base. The base is attached to the car seat so to answer your question no. It can not be used without the base.
submitted byBoymom18 - 6 years agoA: Thank you for your interest in our products! The Extend2Fit® Convertible Car Seat does not offer a removable base as the base is a part of the car seat. The only seats with the option to be used seperately from a base is our Infant car seats. We hope this helps!

A: Thank you for your inquiry on the Extend2Fit Convertible Car Seat! All car seats (excluding belt-positioning boosters) manufactured after June 30, 2025, pass testing to these new standards. Q: What kind of water bottle fits in the cup holder? I don’t like that it’s square and a standard water bottle does not fit.
A: Thanks for reaching out! The cup holders on the Graco Extend2Fit are designed to accommodate standard- sized toddler cups and bottles. Many parents have found that slim profile bottles like the Yeti Rambler Jr and Contigo kids tend to fit well. Water bottles with handle may not fit securely in the holder. Graco Team

Q: I lost the silver metal thing in the back that holds the straps together:(( what can I do?

If the adjuster strap is still on the front of the seat, the splitter plate is lodge between the seat and base.
