A: Thank you for your interest in our products! The Extend2Fit® Convertible Car Seat does not offer a removable base as the base is a part of the car seat. The only seats with the option to be used seperately from a base is our Infant car seats. We hope this helps!

Parents and caretakers may check the manufacturing date of the car seat to determine if a Graco car seat meets the new side impact rules. All car seats (excluding belt-positioning boosters) manufactured after June 30, 2025, pass testing to these new standards. All Graco car seats manufactured before this date have undergone rigorous side impact testing to our internal standard and are safe and meet all the regulations and standards active on the manufacturing date. Many parents have found that slim profile bottles like the Yeti Rambler Jr and Contigo kids tend to fit well. Water bottles with handle may not fit securely in the holder. Graco Team
