Q: My baby weighs 17 pounds and I feel like he’s outgrown the car seat. He’s barely about to turn 3 months. Is there anything I can do to make this car seat last or do I need to purchase a new one.

submitted by Car Seat - 2 years ago

  • A: He still fits until his head is within 1 inch of the top of the car seat I believe. Check the user manual. I stopped using this with my big baby at about 6 months since it was easier to just put him in and out of the car. Once you stop pulling the car seat in and out, it's not really worth it to use anymore.

submitted bypeanutgiraffe - 2 years ago

Guests are saying

The travel system has received mixed feedback from guests, highlighting both its appealing design and practical features. Many appreciate the ease of assembly and versatility, with the car seat being particularly noted for its comfort. However, concerns about bulkiness, stability, and the bassinet's comfort have been raised. Overall, it offers a stylish and functional option for parents, but potential buyers should consider the reported issues before making a decision.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the lilac mod color is super cute! i love that the stroller grows with baby and will last a long time! going from a bassinet to a seat for when they are older is amazing! and when they are older the seat can recline for a nap! it’s super soft and has good cushioning! easy to push and move around and it’s very stable not wobbly at all!

    Love it!

I love it so far, I tried baby trend and evenflo and they didn’t work out for me. This one was great, the quality just felt so much more durable and there was no hesitation when clicking the interchangeable seats in and out, with the other brands it was hard or tedious just to line up the seats to change them in and out. This system is definitely a keeper

    Returning this

None of the stores had this as a display so I had to order it to see if I liked it. The infant car seat is not great, the plastic-y feel of the seat material feels cheap and uncomfortable for a baby, also they put permanent warning labels that feel like stickers on the back of the padding so baby lays right on it and would make him sweat, you can’t even remove the insert because it’s fully attached to the adjustable headrest. Because of these reasons I’m returning the product.

Thank you for your feedback regarding our Modes Pramette Travel System. We're sorry to hear the materials and design did not meet your expectations. We understand how important comfort and quality are when choosing products for your baby. Safety labels are required and placed as part of federal safety regulations, and the infant support components are designed to work with the adjustable headrest system. However, we recognize that personal preferences regarding fabric feel and comfort can vary. We appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, as customer feedback helps us evaluate future product improvements. We wish you all the best in finding a travel system that is the right fit for your family's needs. The Graco Team

    Bulky

Very bulky stroller doesn’t fold with the bassinet attached so we have so many pieces takes. Up a lot of space . The bassinet part is not comfy for my 8 month old he cries every time he’s in it so we just use the car seat attachment but it’s so hot. We haven’t been using much of it lately. We have it adjusted to his proper size so i don’t know why he’s sliding down and the strap just digs into his groin area. The wheels stroll nicely and I love the car seat.

I had this stroller and car seat, and as a first-time mom, I honestly think this is one of the worst car seat and stroller combinations I have ever used. The car seat does not have adequate support for newborns and is way too spacious for a small baby. I never felt like my baby was properly supported or secure in it. The stroller is also extremely bulky, and my baby would lean and slide toward the sides while sitting in it. I was very disappointed with the quality and design of both products. What made the experience even worse was that when I contacted the brand for help, they were not willing to assist me or provide a satisfactory solution. As a first-time mom, I expected much better, especially when it comes to my baby’s safety and comfort. I would not recommend this car seat and stroller to other parents.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This travel system was a gift for my daughter. After much research, she chose this specific set. It is wonderful to have everything in one system/set. So far we are pleased. Haven't gotten to put it to the test yet, but the carseat is installed and ready for baby!

Pretty good but not THE BEST

Wheels aren’t the best - occasionally get stuck on raised concrete or tree roots I would not say it’s a “one handed fold” and the wheels can also get stuck to prevent it from folding flat so you have to adjust them Not too heavy and easy to click in and out for the bassinet and car seat
