Q: My baby weighs 17 pounds and I feel like he’s outgrown the car seat. He’s barely about to turn 3 months. Is there anything I can do to make this car seat last or do I need to purchase a new one.

submitted by Car Seat - 5 months ago
  • A: He still fits until his head is within 1 inch of the top of the car seat I believe. Check the user manual. I stopped using this with my big baby at about 6 months since it was easier to just put him in and out of the car. Once you stop pulling the car seat in and out, it's not really worth it to use anymore.

Q: My stroller does not expand using the release button. I have to manually unlatch the black release bar in the middle of the stroller. This seems to be a defect and immensely problematic.

submitted by Torieggs - 5 months ago
  • A: That is how many strollers are. It's annoying. It's not a defect. I got a Mockingbird as my next stroller and it has the same bar.

submitted bypeanutgiraffe - 4 months ago
  • A: Thanks for reaching out! To open the stroller you will need to unlatch the storage lock on the side of the stroller. It is not a defect. We hope this helps! Graco Team

Q: what is the weight limit for the infant incert part? when do you remove it ?

submitted by Hailey - 2 years ago
  • A: The Modes Pramette Travel System comes with a Snugride 35 Lite infant car seat. The infant inserts for the car seat would be removed once your little one weighs 12 pounds. This can be found on page 71 of the user's manual. I hope this helps!

Q: Is the stroller overhead compatible?

submitted by Stephanie - 4 days ago
  • A: Thanks for your interest in our products! The Graco Modes Pramette Travel System is a versatile stroller that offers multiple configurations, However, there is no specific mention of it being overhead compartment compatible on aircraft. Given its dimensions—16.54”H x 41.73”W x 25.60”L when folded—it may be too large for most overhead bins.- Graco Team

The stroller and car seat combo offers versatility with its convertible features, making it suitable for infants to toddlers. Guests appreciate its lightweight design and ease of assembly. However, some concerns include the pramette's stability and the stroller's bulkiness. The car seat is easy to install, but lacks adequate neck support for newborns. Overall, it's a practical choice for those seeking a budget-friendly travel system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great stroller ! I love the different ways the baby can be. It was a little difficult to put together. The pieces weren’t labeled, you just had to look at the pictures. But the 360 turn is the best. SUPER easy to pack up the stroller in and out of the car.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's a good combo to have toddler seat that can change to lay down an infant (pramette). Also have an infant car seat that fits into stroller. I do wish more of the locking attachments were colored to easier see where to press to release or attach infant seat or stroller seat or safety lock closing stroller. Also the pramette is nice to lay down baby but where the baby's head lays seems too low, it's not level with the rest of the body. It's like I need to put some cardboard to push up the head slightly so doesn't sink down. Otherwise for the price and for travel it's a good stroller.

Your Baby Will be Basically Sitting on a Strap

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Received the stroller as a registry gift, seemed just alright at first. The pramette was fairly flimsy, baby bounced quite a bit on it simply walking on sidewalk, it functions almost like a springboard since the front extends out with no support. Converting it to its "seat" mode is where the product really falls apart. The "seat" is really just a nylon strap and buckle that the child sits on over the seat fabric. It provides basically zero support. Another problem is that the "seat" mode isn't very deep either, our baby was almost totally suspended by the harness' crotch strap, which seems...uncomfortable to say the least. The stroller frame seems fine I guess, and it would be nice to get a different seat that has support and isn't essentially trash, but there seems to be no way to purchase alternative seats other than infant car seats. All in all, would not recommend, you'll be better off picking a stroller with an actual seat.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really great stroller. It rides smooth, it looks nice, the ability to switch modes and directions is really convenient. The only reason it isn’t 5 stars is because the handle is a little shaky and it folds down kind of awkward compared to the previous graco model that we owned.

I brought the lilac mod color for my granddaughter who is due to be born in July. This travel system feels very sturdy. I don’t see any negatives at all so far, and the color is BEAUTIFUL. We had a Graco travel system for my first granddaughter 6 years ago, and it was wonderful. This one seems just as sturdy and well made.

Have had this for almost a year now and it is the best stroller i have ever had! This is my third stroller, and im on baby #2. Graco ALWAYS delivers. Baby loves it. I love that you can change the seat to whatever you need at that time. Baby falls asleep? Lay it back and unclip, and BOOM, laying flat and sleeping great. Use this stroller almost daily. Wish it was thing when i have my first.

LOVED at first, gradually got worse after 6 months of using. This is a great option for a cheaper version of a certain birdy named brand, but we eventually got a new stroller when this one stopped steering. Had to rip on it to get it to turn. Which obviously having to do that the whole thing started squeaking anytime we tried to turn. Folds down nice, but need a long trunk for it to fit in your car. The seat portion was also angled down, so the crotch strap would dig into my baby's thigh a lot too. Had to do some readjusting fairly often on walks

Despite what is advertised, this is certainly not company nor light. There are other strollers on the market that fold more compactly and take up less space. This system is an absolute nightmare to travel with as well.

It's a nice stroller. I like the option or more like the longevity of the stroller brings because of use with the bucket seat, pram, and then toddler seating for it. Some down sides to it tho is if you have a heavier baby the pram tilts backwards so your baby will have their head dipping lower than their feet. I have to tighten the back rest to keep my baby leveled out when he's laying down in it. Another negative to it is that you have to take of the pieces of the stroller in order to close it and store in the car. It does not close properly even with the seat in toddler mode or pram. It's really annoying because both pieces are so big and take up space. The bucket car seats and base are great tho! The material makes it easy to clean up messes. Just a quick wipe of a damp cloth works. The wheels also tend to stick if your just trying to do small movements so you have to push it hard to turn sometimes.

We love the car seat and ability to switch the direction of the stroller in the car seat (can face out or in!) . Similar to other reviewers, however, the maneuverability has worsened a lot and requires almost a dragging of the front wheels to go in a direction. I am not sure if we need to replace the wheels or tighten an axel? Can someone from Graco reach out to me about this?

I have been using this stroller for 5 months now and am highly disappointed in it. I had high hopes for it based on reviews (or maybe my stroller is just defective). My husband and I have to fight to keep it going straight. The right wheel in particular does not want to keep in a straight line. I took it to the mall (so smooth tile) other day, and my right wheel would not stay straight, just was turned 90 degrees so I couldn’t hardly maneuver it at all. It is also requires some effort to turn since when you go to turn, it doesn’t want to right itself straight again. I like all the options it has, but the actual maneuverability of the stroller sucks.
