Graco Fastaction SE 2.0 Travel System - Astaire

I’ve had this stroller for almost 2 months now. I dont like how it’s hard to put in and take out the car seat from the stroller. Also the storage is soo little I struggle to put my diaper bag in every time it’s kinda frustrating. In my opinion the handles are short and I still can’t find a way to adjust them higher, if you are taller than 5’7 be ready to start bending down to push this stroller. Other than that everything is okay, it’s smooth to ride. I just wouldn’t prefer this stroller, currently looking for a new one.

Locking mechanism that keeps stroller upright and erect failed during use. Pushing stroller at walking pace from parking lot, pushed stroller across threshold of the building stroller folded while in use carseat containing child tipped forward and upside down as it collapsed to the ground. I regret that I bought this one, it was a gift from our relatives and we didn't find the receipt to return it, we chose it according to the reviews, I thought that we can move it up and down , no one. Shows us how to use it , so frustrated, I wish I can return it , it's not comfortable for babies, my baby is 4 months old and doesn't like to put him inside the stroller 😔

Cute functional stroller. However, the stroller is hard to open and close. It has a strap you pull under the seat to open and shut.

If this incident would mever have happened and Graco wouldve had a better response i wouldve rated this product 5. Unfortunately it almost choked my baby! The strap must have gotten caught in the base NOT sure but something like that should never have happened so easily. It tightened and would NOT loosen. Left marks on my babies chest and neck. Graco offered to send a refurbished replacement upon return.

This car seat is not for newborns! No head support. We purchased another car seat the day we left the hospital.

I hated the car seat it came with. The stroller is also pretty bulky but it’s okay. Next baby I will not be purchasing one of these sets.

The material is soft and good. Its light weight and the stroller is a good size. Everything was easy to set up !

We liked the usability and the design and ended up ordering one. Once we got the item, we opened the package and it look like there is a manufacturing defect where tow part does not stay attached. The slots created snap sound and one of the two join section does not stay on. This creates a gap.

It’s perfect the car seat is soft and has enough cushioning and the stroller runs smooth. All though I wish the instructions had a way to disassemble it because I missed and instruction and don’t know how to go back lol

This car seat is not safe! Even though our baby was properly buckled, it didn't keep him secure. There isn't any support and doesn't work properly. I am not a picky reviewer, it looked nice, the stroller was fine, the price wasn't terrible, etc. BUT I want to protect my baby and help out anyone else that is considering purchasing this.... DON'T! We are returning this!

Also, the car seat is very light and clicks in easily to both the base and the stroller. The stroller is compact and doesn’t take up much room both folded and unfolded which is a huge deal in my tiny apartment. It rides smoothly and is a great product, especially for the price. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I recently received the Graco FastAction SE 2.0 travel system through Stellar Product Testing Panel and so far it’s really great! The car seat is pretty standard, but I was impressed with the feel of the protective cushions; I genuinely feel as if my child is safe when he’s strapped in. The stroller is the real star though! It’s pretty compact and a smooth ride. It’s not the most modern but still pretty stylish. The stroller is very easy to unfold, and then simply snapping the car seat in place makes everything so much faster when we are on the go (getting him back in the car and folding the stroller to secure it in the trunk is just as easy). Also, my little one and I like to take evening strolls around the park/neighborhood, so I love how I can simply strap him into the stroller and then we are on our way. I have not had this travel system long so I cannot comment on the longevity, but so far so good! I definitely recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] First I would like to mention I was given this travel system to try as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. I think this travel system is a good option for someone needing an affordable car seat and stroller. I like how lightweight the car seat is, how easy the harness straps are to adjust, and how easy it clicks in and out of the base. I do want to note that the car seat does not have shoulder pads which I prefer for comfort, and you cannot add products like that yourself for safety reasons. However, you can make sure the straps aren’t rubbing your baby’s neck by pulling their clothing up. Also, the canopy seems a little flimsy as it doesn’t open and close very smoothly and I would prefer a longer canopy for more coverage from the sun. The infant insert is also only a pad behind their back. Some infant inserts will go underneath the baby and on their sides to provide more body support and comfort. However, it is still a safe option as all car seats have to pass regulations before going on the market. For the stroller, here is a list of things I really liked: parent and child cup holders, reclining seat (great for naps!), easy fold, compact storage, maneuvers very well, and car seat feels very secure when clicked onto stroller. Of those things mentioned, the compact fold is really great if you like to bring your stroller with you as it will easily fit in any size vehicle. If you have an SUV you can even stand the stroller up if you are traveling with multiple items in the trunk. Again, the canopy could be a bit longer for more sun shade and this stroller does have a smaller basket if that’s a concern for you. I was able to fit a small diaper bag underneath but a larger one definitely would not fit. Overall, the fabric for both products does not feel as nice quality as other Graco products we have but for the price it is okay. Hope this helps!

What follows is my honest review of the Graco Fast Action SE Travel System. The Graco FastAction SE travel system includes the Snugride 35 car seat and base and the original FastAction stroller. Overall, for the price point this is a good car seat with an even better stroller. This travel system is Graco’s version of more high end travel systems on the market and it competes with them very well, with a significant price savings I’ll start with the car seat and base. You can’t beat the convenience of an infant car seat and this one is no different. It got the “Thea” seal of approval as you’ll see from my pictures. She fell asleep in it easily and stayed asleep while being transferred into the car and into the stroller. Overall the car seat is light, with easily stripped off seat materials for cleaning. The seat materials can be machine washed and air dried. The seat did not come with much in the way of infant inserts. Just a smaller back cushion but nothing extra for the shoulder straps, groin clip or head rest area. My biggest dislike on the car seat itself is the canopy. The canopy feels very cheaply made, isn’t made of the best materials, doesn’t move smoothly or quietly and isn’t 50 spf. It also doesn’t have an air flow panel and isn’t overly large so doesn’t provide much sun coverage out of the car. As for the car seat base, it is like others on the market. It has a regular seat belt option and a LATCH system option. I opted for the LATCH system and it was easy to install. I did have a hard time on my leather seats getting it to a tightness of 1 inch in any direction. I never did get it perfect. Just something to consider. My biggest dislike of the base was there was not a built in level on the base. There is a line that must be level to the ground but not a level to reference. You’ll either have to have your own or use your phone to insure it’s right. The stroller is really nice. It’s a little difficult to get the infant car seat clipped in at first, but with constant use it is easy. User error on my part. I was impressed with how well the car seat rolls on different surfaces. It did great in my lawn, on a brick path way, and asphalt. I’ve taken it on multiple 5 mile walks and it rolls smoothly and quietly and handles bumps well; better than some of my other strollers. The one hand fold is really easy and once folded it stays locked in the closed position. To open, you hold the pull strap and open easily. The canopy on the stroller is 50spf. My only complaints are the size of the canopy, I would prefer it to be large to provide more shade, and perhaps have a mesh panel for airflow on a hot day. I also wish the stroller had a compartment near the handle that would hold my iPhone in Otterbox case. It doesn’t have a large enough tray or wide enough cup hold to hold it. Overall if you are on a budget but need a safe, affordable option for a travel system this is a great choice. The car seat has some great safety ratings and the stroller is comparable to other higher end models on the market. I deducted on star for the less than desirable car seat canopy and the lack of built in level on the car seat base. Ultimately these do not affect the ability to safety transport your child or enjoy the system.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this travel system! Once it arrived it was very easy to put together and took me no time at all. Everything feels very sturdy and not cheap. The stroller has 2 cup holders and room for phone/keys/wallet for the parent and 2 cup holders and space for a snack for the child. The seat reclines so that the child can lay almost flat. The basket below holds my diaper backpack easily and I don’t have to struggle to get it out. There is a shade, but I wish it had a spot to peek to make sure your child is doing ok without having to pull up the shade or walking to the front of the stroller. The showstopper is the strap/handle in the stroller seat that you simply pull up on and the whole stroller collapses with ease and then stands up folded on its own for storage. It’s a game changer while holding a child you your other arm. The stroller is also a great weight, not too heavy at all! The carseat was easy to install into my car and get it level. The carseat easily clicks out of the base and clicks into the stroller - very easy. This is such a great, easy travel system at such an incredible price! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a mom of two littles, my hands are always full! That means I need products that make my life easier. When I first saw that this travel system was marketed as a fast action, one handed closure stroller, I was skeptical but excited to try it out. When I received the travel system, I was happy to see that the car seat came assembled straight out of the box. The stroller required some additional assembly, and that took me about 20 minutes to complete by myself. The instruction manual was easy to follow. The manual goes over how to open and close the stroller, but I thought it would be helpful for others to know that opening the stroller requires 2 hands. You need to pull a strap and then lift the handle until you hear a click. Closing the stroller can be done with one hand. To close it, you must pull the strap quickly and the stroller will swing shut fast; pulling it slowly will not work. The Graco Snugride 35 Lite infant car seat is lightweight and is a very similar car seat to the Graco Snugride 35 (which is what we currently use for our newborn). The car seat came with the click base making it extremely easy to move baby in and out of the car. Clicking the car seat into the stroller was easy too. Graco did a great job with this and the easy click transfer is my favorite feature from this brand. I like the look and feel of the stroller. The handle is slightly curved, and the design feels comfortable to maneuver and move the stroller. The children’s tray comes with two cup holders and is easy to click into place and remove. The adult tray comes with two cup holders but the entire tray isn’t removable. The center compartment isn’t very deep and doesn’t have any type of closure so whatever you place there will be exposed and can fall out if you’re going over bumps. A few things to keep in mind: - When opening the stroller, you should be able to hear a click sound. I found it difficult to hear so keep that in mind if you’re in a busier place or louder environment. With practice, you can get a better feel for when the stroller is fully extended. I would double check every time I open it just to be safe! - Closing the stroller with one hand is fast but it does make a loud sound since it’s basically slapping together shut. That sound startles my infant but it’s not a huge dealbreaker. - When closed/folded, the stroller handle touches the floor. - If you close the stroller and the front wheels just so happen to face a certain direction, the stroller will not close all the way. It will actually lean and fall over. It’s a quick fix so just make sure the wheels are positioned correctly. I’ve included a photo of the incorrect position. I wish they mentioned and included this visual in the manual. - The backrest does not have preset incline/recline positions. It features an adjustable strap on the backside (similar to a thick flat drawstring) that you pull to tighten, and you push a button to release. I have been looking for an easy-to-use stroller for some time and was given the opportunity to test out this product in exchange for my honest review. I received the Graco FastAction SE 2.0 Travel System as a part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, and overall I recommend this product!
