A: Are you sure they’re definitely fixed? We have the same issue in our Sienna and there is a tiny keyhole slot on the side of the base (the base where the pins slide in). If you stick something in there they come out completely. I used a kabob skewer but a small flathead screwdriver might work.

A: It would probably be easiest to have two of them, but that's not financially feasible for everyone. I will eventually be buying 2 so we don't have to worry about switching between cars. It's really just personal preference.

A: I found it easier to purchase a second car seat for my 2 cars. The struggle of constantly moving the seat is not worth it.

A: Thank you for your inquiry! Parents and caretakers may check the manufacturing date of the car seat to determine if a Graco car seat meets the new side impact rules. All car seats (excluding belt-positioning boosters) manufactured after June 30, 2025, pass testing to these new standards. All Graco car seats manufactured before this date have undergone rigorous side impact testing to our internal standard and are safe and meet all the regulations and standards active on the manufacturing date. Follow the instructions for vehicle installation. This child restraint is NOT certified for aircraft use when used as a booster seat because aircrafts do not have shoulder belts.
